ITA LindaL100 Creek is boring and she really has no chemistry with Manfred.. So far I haven't liked a single scene of her, and also the whole overprotective father SL is boring as hell

Manfred had tons of chemistry with his scenes with both Fiji and Olivia! I sure hope they share more scenes together

Creek and her whole family are boring, I just don't understand the point of her character besides just being a love interest for Manfred, and her father is so annoying! I can understand he's being an overprotective dad, but he's being so overprotective and a jerk towards Manfred that it makes me wonder if he's hiding something...or is he just being an annoying and ungrateful douchebag? My guess is it's probably the latter, I really don't care about Creek and her family at all, they are so boring and don't seem to serve any real purpose in the series, Creek seems to be just the token love interest/girlfriend and her father is just an annoying douchebag, while her brother barely does anything on the show.
It's irritating how the writers are forcing this Manfred & Creek couple down our throats and we're only 3-4 episodes in! They barely know each other and their lack of chemistry just makes them a very unconvincing couple, and the fact that the writers are forcing this couple upon the viewers just makes it worse

Francois tends to have good chemistry with many of his female co-stars, some in particular more than others...but it seems Sarah Ramos (Creek) is 1 of the few actresses whom Francois doesn't have chemistry with...actually now that I think about it, Ramos is the ONLY female co-star I have ever seen so far who lacks chemistry with Francois, he has good chemistry with all his other female co-stars (past and present) that I have seen so far.

So I've watched ep 4 'Sexy Beast' and I enjoyed it a lot, I think it's slightly better than last week's ep, although I did enjoy ep 3 too. But there's many things I love about ep 4, it was interesting to learn more about Olivia's character and her backstory this time in ep 4, the monster of the week the succubus was also an interesting monster and I love how all the main residents of the town worked together to destroy the succubus, like they always do. The bond and sense of community between the residents of Midnight is really great and it's good to see Manfred is really fitting into the town well and he's becoming one of the "family"
I also love all the interactions between Fiji and Bobo in ep 4, and I won't spoil what happened to them in this ep in case anyone here hasn't seen ep 4 yet, but let's just say that if you like Bobo & Fiji together as a couple (like me) then you won't be disappointed with ep 4!

Now moving onto the negatives of ep 4...I am disappointed that the Reverend wasn't in this ep, instead we had Joe's gay partner in it and surprisingly he had quite a lot of screen-time in this ep. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against homosexuality or Joe's boyfriend, I don't mind the character, but up until now he has only been a minor character in this series and I would much rather prefer to see the Rev in this ep, so hopefully we'll see the Rev back in next week's ep. I also still don't like and don't trust Creek, and although I'm glad that her irritating douchebag father was not in this ep, but jeez, her brother is starting to annoy me too, he was so stupid in this ep

Overall ep 4 is a really good episode, slightly better than ep 3 and I can't wait for ep 5 next week

I have to put this show on the back burner for now. I have so many other shows Im trying to watch and just dont have time. But maybe if Olivia and Manfred get together down the line i will catch back up lol.

I think it's a pity that you're putting this series on the backburner, I think it's a good show and I'm really enjoying it so far, I think ep 4 was better than ep 3. I don't think Olivia & Manfred would ever hook up though, she seems to be in a stable relationship with Lemuel, and I think they're more compatible...with Olivia & Manfred, I think they would probably clash too much. But I will admit that they would make a much more interesting couple though, Manfred & Creek are just so boring as a couple, mainly because Creek is so boring and they lack chemistry.

Yeah i know it probably wont happen but i dont like the other couples. And thats one thing that would get me hooked back in because I love both Arielle and Francois. But, if the show doesnt get renewed maybe ill just watch the rest of the series. Well see what happens.

Manfred and Olivia? That seems like an unusual idea. But I do agree that Creek doesn't have much about her that's interesting. She seems to be the Sookie Stackhouse of the show, minus the faerie powers. She does seem a bit too goody-goody and not much of a foil for Manfred.

I agree with you, there's just not much happening with Creek's character at the moment, her character is so boring and bland...some people believe that there's probably more to her character that we haven't seen yet, but the thing is a lot of viewers just don't care for her character at all, and I honestly don't care whether there's more to her character or not, she's just not interesting at all to me. At the moment it just seems like Creek is just there as the token love interest, that's all, it's like she's there just for the sake of being there, but not actually contributing anything important to the show. Honestly, if they remove Creek's character from the show in the next episode, I wouldn't even care and I would barely notice her gone.

Manfred & Olivia does sound like an unusual pairing because they seem to clash often, although it's mostly one-sided, Olivia seems to be the one who doesn't like Manfred much, it seems like at the moment she's merely tolerating him...but I think they would make a much more interesting couple than Manfred & Creek at least. Manfred & Creek just don't click IMO, there's just no spark between them and lack of chemistry, these reasons make this couple boring and dull to me. We are only 4 episodes into this show and there's already many viewers who prefer Manfred with either Olivia or even Fiji (me included), mainly because they think Manfred has more chemistry with them, and they don't like Creek.

I just watched ep 5 and I have to say this is probably the best episode so far it was good to learn more about Manfred & Bobo's backstories, I won't spoil anything in case there are people here who haven't seen the ep yet.

I have been saying this for weeks now, this show just gets better and better, I can't wait for ep 6 next week. But it looks like we'll finally find out who actually killed Aubrey next week...they've been stretching out her death storyline for 5 episodes already since the pilot, let's hope next week her storyline will finally be resolved and finished for good, because I'm starting to get a bit annoyed with the Aubrey's death plotline, mainly because I never liked her nor do I care about her...but I can understand that her death is part of Bobo's character development in the series. I just want the writers to hurry up and finish the whole Aubrey storyline so that Bobo can finally move on from her death and really start a happy life with Fiji

The show is amazing!!! Lemuel and Olivia are my top faves on the show! I can't get enough of them!!! You can see how much Lem loves Olivia and how much she loves him in return!

I got the Season Pass on Amazon, and I keep watching all the episodes over and over!! To get more of the characters, I got the books and read the three of them in four days.

For the Lovells.... I don't have a problem with Creek.... Her dad is another story! The man is a drunk and slightly a creeper! there are things that he says that have warning bells going off in my head. Connor is just sorta... Eh!

I'm glad you guys all are enjoying this series and welcome to the Midnight Texas thread my favourite characters are Manfred, Fiji and Olivia, but I like most of the other main characters too (except Creek)
