Damn Jon Hamm for always looking so good.

But is he leaving a hotel? Cause if so, Lexi, you were probably right, lol.

An interview with Kiernan Shipka but doesn't have anything to do with Mad Men. - From Mad Men to Flowers in the Attic, Kiernan Shipka likes being dramatic

When does Jon Hamm not look good ?

You mean screwing someone that's not his wife?

That's something that should come as no surprise. No let me rephrase that, it's something that is expected to happen. Well, he might be screwing another women who's not his wife (if he's still married, seeing how things ended in the finale)

Sorry I've been absent! I have one more episode left of S5. I haven't been watching much because I just went to school, moved back, and I actually just started my internship at AMC/Sundance So very busy! But good busy.

But I honestly think S5 has been really, really good. If not their best season. There is just so much going on and everyone has a really important storyline. (Well besides my girl Betty ) But the episode where Peggy says goodbye to Don - one of the best scenes of the show, by far. And the episode where Joan sleeps with that ...disgusting man, and Don tries to stop her, but it's too late. Ugh so many emotions. And btw, maybe a rare opinion, but I love Megan. I love how she stands up to Don and has dreams and I just think she is a wonderful character.

Yeah, I know, I know People seem to think really negatively about S5 but I thought it was great. S3/4/5 are pretty equal to me

it's interesting because season five was the beginning of their downfall, but then season six led them to be shut out of every single award show this year! i died laughing when moss won for top of the lake too! HEE!

but, i mean, if you like it! great! it's nice when you can watch something straight through and think highly of it from start to finish. i'm just not a fan of matt continuously giving don the lime light... then making him a cheating alcoholic, which on top of that, megan got a lot more screen time and development than peggy and joan put together. #weird

Well for S6 they were nominated for Best Drama and the cast was nominated for a bunch of awards too - so it can't be too bad! But I have heard that it definitely isn't the same. But maybe since I'm watching it all on Netflix, in a short amount of time, maybe it's making a better impression on me? Because I really, really liked S5.

I do agree about a lot of focus on Megan. I wasn't annoyed, because I love Megan, but I was questioning why Peggy, Joan, and Betty got limited screentime. Joan did get a fair amount in S5 tho and I think for Peggy it was quality over quantity.

they weren't nominated for any golden globes or sag awards this year and they lost every single award at the emmy's last year, if i'm not mistaken.

This is true, but just to be nominated for 12 Emmys is a good achievement. At least to me I'm just saying that Mad Men's worst season is probably better than a lot of shows best seasons Plus, a lot of great shows never get ANY awards.

Wow, that is really cool! I wish I could do the same but I am half way across the world Congratulations Have fun!

I thought season 5 was good too not as great as season 4 though. The reason why they were snubbed in the SAG and the globes was because not that it was terrible ( i know a lot of people think otherwise) but because MM has lost its charm in the critics community. It's getting old for them, there are new and better shows out there that are the new critics favorite. Critics are done with it. I am not shocked or surprise about this. Season 6 was definitely not its best but I loved the finale.
