Looks like it. We had to wait two years for S2. Depending on when they'll start and finish shooting for S3, I'm gonna assume another 2 years to wait for another season.

Cause they claimed the reason why S2 took so long was because of The Defenders but I believe that's a lie. Daredevil didn't have to wait his turn to get a second season and Jessica literally had to wait for Luke, Iron Fist, The Punisher and the defenders to come back

Iron Fist finished shooting today apparently so those two should come back next year with The Punisher.

I think it's a lie too because they all shoot in NYC and right now they're all currently shooting for the recent seasons of DD, IF & The Punisher (but good to know IF has already finished). So I don't understand the delay for JJ S2.

IDK if it has to do with the writing staff or production wise, I know is not the cast. The cast is mostly available so

I'm sure they all shot S2 right on schedule but not sure why it took Netflix two years for the 2nd season to premiere. DD didn't have a long hiatus like this.

Although they've had a hiatus now for most than two years officially... didn't season 2 air early 2016? considering that DD is coming back probably this fall. However the DD storyline is pretty important in The Defenders so it felt like a mini DD season

Yeah, much of the focus of The Defenders was on Matt so I feel like The Defenders was a set-up to DD S3.

And yes, DD S2 streamed March 2016.

DD S3 is still currently shooting so I don't think they'll come back this fall so most likely next year.

Looks like they're already casting for S3, at least for minor roles. Not sure yet when they'll start shooting.
