That's what they're doing with The Americans this year. They're nominated in most of the major categories since they just aired their final season.

And they were always overlooked too. So I feel like the Emmys are only doing it since it's their last year to be nominated.

Which that's why whenever the show will be last, they start to get the nominated.. I mean, it been like that all the time.. But not surprising..
