i actually dont really watch any HGTV shows other than Design Star.

I think my favorite is Love It or List It. The competition between Hillary (Love It) and David (List It) is really fun.

So what did you think about Abby being eliminated on Star last time? I've liked her work overall, even if I can't like her hair.

Hey Janice I think you were watching Rehab Addict earlier? I love that show, too. Did you see the recent episode(s) where Nicole fixed up her own old garage and basement?
She can re-imagine a second (or 10th!) life for anything!

I love the street views in HHI, but it's a little depressing to know I'd never be able to afford to live in most of those cities!
Sometimes I feel embarrassed that Americans are so spoiled and demanding, though. I mean, 2 beds, 2 baths w/soaker tub, large fully-furnished kitchen in a 300-yr-old perfectly
maintained classic Parisienne building in the shadow of Notre Dame for $1200/month? Oh, and a balcony, tyvm.

The only show I've seen on HGTV is "My Yard Goes Disney", only because I knew families who were on it.

HGTV is sort of my default. If I want to watch TV for awhile but none of my regular show are on, I turn to HGTV. They have just a few shows I don't like well enough to sit through.

I thought tonight's eliminee on Star would be either Boris or Brooks, and it was Boris. I think the light couch did him in. I did like Brooks' wainscoting. Jeribai did a great job on the table, and it would've been a terrible injustice to eliminate him when he'd got stuck with that.

imo, Cris & Anne did a better job with the sorority house overall. I'm sure Cris planned to dress the fireplace but ran out of time. Didn't think much of the carpenter they were given.
