This show is/was pretty good. I only have watched season 4 because of Jimmy Smits his character was amazing! I know a lot of people didn't think Isaac was necessary, but I did. I liked him & Annalise's friendship/potential romance?? His character's backstory was so sad too.

I watched this show mainly for Viola and Alfie Enoch (who's from Harry Potter) but he's not on S4 anymore so I don't think you've seen him (except for mentions and flashbacks?). Yeah his backstory was tragic. Can you refresh me because I've forgotten but I think it has something to do with him losing his child (which might be his fault)?

So I have decided to finally get back to this show. I think I stopped somewhere in season 4? I decided just to rewatch from the beginning but I really don't remember much of the series, I only saw it one time. Season 1 is pretty familiar with some things, but that's about it. I hope I can enjoy it!


1x01:
Very strong pilot, it kept moving and there was a lot going on. The use of the flashbacks was well done too, and those bits were my favorite parts of the episode. I think that there was maybe a TAD too much going on in one episode but it all made sense to me this time around lol.

Having it start first thing with the main 5 covering up a murder was certainly unique and different. Finding out at the end who it was was also a smart move imo and I was glad it was Sam because his character wasn't overly exciting in the episode.

Annalise was a great character, her cheating wasn't a great look. Also that scene with Wes where she touches his chest was super weird to me! But it seemed she was being sincere with the tears because after he left she was still crying so... I guess that's what we were to assume?

There were a HECK of a lot of characters but from the first episode I really liked Michaela and Wes this time around. Wes just seemed so sweet and rootable. And Michaela came off very quick and cool. I loved Connor and Asher originally, but this time they both annoyed me lol.

Oliver/Connor never really did much for me but I liked Oliver more this time around. Still think their romance was super rushed too.

Frank, Nate, Bonnie and Laurel were all just okay to me, I didn't get enough of an impression from them. Frank made an annoying comment though lol. Rebecca seemed annoying to me in this episode and the only character I didn't really like because she just came off rude to me.

So the sorority girl was killed at the end, and Annalise thinks it was the boyfriend. I do remember the majority of this mystery but I am trying to watch these eps as if I have no clue.




1x02:

The vibe of the show is just so fun, I really love it.

The future scenes of them hiding the body are still my favorite bits of the episode, but I didn't love the repeated flashbacks. I dont know if they were needed in this episode much.

Asher was funnier in this episode too and less annoying to me.

Sam is literally so sus.

Oliver and Connor are just bleh to me. They have no chemistry imo. And their story started so quickly so I wasn't invested at all.

Forgot Michaela was engaged... her fiance was kinda boring. And seriously, he hooked up with Connor?... I didn't buy his "I was young and horny" like whatttt. It was strange he didn't mention being "open-minded" or even bisexual.... I understand why Michaela was upset because its a bit odd he never told her he hooked up with a guy in the past.

The main case was sorta interesting but then the woman just leaves her kids to be with her lover omg... how horrible. She just left her damn kids? Horrible woman. I wonder if they will go back to that case, I don't remember.

Annalise has way more chemistry with Nate, that's for sure.

Michaela losing her ring wtf!!! GIRL. She looked so horrible in the photos. Def. seems like maybe she was more involved in the murder considering how distraught she was.

Love Annalise representing Rebecca, but why did she confess??? This girl drives me a bit nuts but maybe she's being blackmailed.

I have finished my season 1 rewatch and loved it! So good. I am excited to watch future seasons because I dont think I remember much or any of what happened really.

Apologies for the long post. I'll try to keep my thoughts concise.

-Oliver calling him and Connor a couple felt too quick to me. Connor is so attractive though
-Paxton was hot. Too bad they killed him in this same episode. He had great chemistry with Connor imo. (Connor is so creepy in the flashfowards tho!)
-Rebecca is just annoying and rude.
-Sam's penis on the girls phone, like wtf!!!!


105:
-Like Laurel getting more focus. I like her a lot more this time around.
-Sam is so creepy with his student! AL believing he didn't kill Lyla was insane... he seems so guilty.
-Glad Nate told AL the truth about Sam.
-Laurel and Frank was too fast and random to me, I'm sorry. The passion wasn’t really there... but they are okay.
-Overall it was a kind of boring episode but I think the ending was sort of interesting. The ends of the eps are always good.


106:
-Why was Wes shirtless in front of AL? It feels like forced tension in these scenes, it's weird.
-I like Frank/Laurel more this time around but still not passionate about any ships on the show. I might like them more if they had a bit more development and angst.
-No way Annalise would be off the hook after her court rant!
-Asher and Bonnie eh. I dont feel this ship either.


107:
-Rebecca is so obnoxious. And I'm not feeling her and Wes at all.
-Don't get why Annalise stays with her husband... the pregnancy reveal is insane.
-Asher continues to be an ass, but sort of funny I guess.
-Michaela needs more to do.
-Overall it was a bit of a meh episode but I still like the characters and the plots happening for the most part.

-There is too much damn Rebecca on this show for me.
-Annalise is kind of pathetic when it comes to Sam tbh.
-Frank has a g/f sort of now? Yikes.
-This mid section of eps isn't as strong for me.
-Now Frank and Bonnie are kissing like wtf is going on??? Don't blame Annalise for being pissed off.

-This was a major episode, and Sam died... The whole sequence was pretty crazy to watch play out. So technically, Wes killed Sam, but it was self defense.
-The ending with Wes walking in to see Annalise, who knew what happened... that was a good scene.

-Good episode with some newer scenes! Glad the flashbacks are sort of done, cuz those were getting old.
-I like Frank a lot as a character though, he's super interesting.
-Connor and Michaela were annoying me this episode. They've been sort of annoying all season.

-Connor and Oliver are just too dramatic. I remember why I didn't like them the first time around.
-Bored with Rebecca and Wes together.
-The case with Annalise was interesting.
-Liking Laurel more and more as I watch. She is the most level headed.
-Mikaela was so annoying in this ep.

-Asher is the comic relief. I liked Frank messing with him too.
-Sam's sister was annoying and crazy!
-THEM FRAMING NATE IS AWFUL! Poor Nate.


113:
-This ep was a bit sad with AL and her mom. Revealing she was abused was sad. And it seems her mom knew.
-No one felt bad for Nate except Wes? Damn, cold.
-Liked the focus on Bonnie more this ep.


114:
-Kinda like Wes and Laurel working together, they are similar personalities.
-Something about Rebecca is so off. I'm just over her character. But I was interested to know about her involvement with Lyla's death.
-The priest storyline was sad, especially with how it ended.
-Asher is entertaining but can be annoying too.
-Connor and Oliver are so dull together my God!
-Really strong episode and it went by so fast! This ending half of the season was strong.


115:
-Very strong first season of the show! And this episode was insane. The twists and turns and the way it was laid out was crazy. I didn’t know who to suspect (forgot about what happened) and kept changing my mind through the episode.
-Frank being the actual murderer of Lyla was insane… I forgot that happened. What the actual hell! But, Sam put the hit on her, clearly.
-Liked seeing the flashbacks of Lyla and Sam and what happened!
-Felt a bit bad for Rebecca being locked up. Didn’t think she killed Lyla. And then she just ends up dead at the end omg.
-Annalise and Wes are so cute together. Does AL know Frank killed Lyla or not?

Very curious to see next season again and how that plays out.

I love S1 and I think it's still the best season of the show. I would have to say Annalise was my favorite that season followed closely by Wes. I don't care much for the others really and this season, Frank got on my nerves right away. But it will change for me as we got more seasons. Annalise became insufferable and I just kind of hate watched the rest of it because I wanted to see how this all goes down and if anyone was going to get arrested for the murder(s).

yeah i changed my list, def. loved Annalise the most . I lvoed Wes so much the first time around, not as much this time.

I liked Frank and Laurel so much more on this rewatch and Connor less.

Thats a bummer to hear. i think I got to season 4, was mad about what happened with Wes and then stopped watching.

A lot of us were mad about how Wes died and a lot of fans definitely stopped watching after S3. It because a soap opera for me since then. I mostly watched for Viola, she's the one that really made the show watchable for me. If it wasn't for her, I will not even bother watching this show.

Will you be re-watching S2? I forgot the main plot of that season.
