I'm re-watching this show currently, on season 5. I know a lot of people love Chuck and Blair but I always thought Dan and Blair were one of the best things of the show. They just clicked so well together Still in denial that they didn't end up together.

I used to like Bart until he was resurrected. I really enjoyed the show until episode 414. Beginning of the end imo

You know me, I can't keep myself away from talking about the Bass family. What do you think of Jack? I hated him during the first seasons, but my opinion of him changed when I saw the last season. Now that I think about it, isn't Jack in season 6 more similar to the way Bart was in the beginning and Bart the other way around in season 6? We could have had a confrontation between the two Bass brothers instead of the new Bart trying to kill everyone who stood in his way. Bart could have been kept more in character if Jack was once more the villain.

I shouldn't have said anything then. Seriously speaking, the mistake I made was probably due to me associating season 5 with Dlair and Ivy, and season 6 with Ivy again (two hated storylines). Blair and Dan were cute as friends, but they didn't have chemistry when they were together imo. I liked when they started watching Rosemary's Baby (I may be wrong about the title) while talking to the phone. It was a sweet scene.

Oh another wasted potential there, Bart and Jack never had a confrontation or any scenes on screen! Two great actors! I like redeeming SLs tbh so I liked that Jack has changed as well, they just didn't need to make Bart that much villian, they could make someone else but they wanted to show the opposite of Chuck (and Jack too) with Bart's SL. It was who Chuck was gonna become if Blair wouldn't be in his life and later on if he wouldn't make effort to get better. Even tho I appreciate the parallels, my Bass men loving heart is broken

I always thought he was alive, but his return disappointed me in 5x24. again I love the parallels but sad face
