UnReal

The drama (premiering June 1) is a fictitious look at the chaos surrounding production of a “Bachelor”-esque dating competition, where an idealistic young producer (Shiri Appleby)
struggles with the moral quandaries of manipulating contestants’ relationships to get outrageous footage for her demanding executive producer (Constance Zimmer).

Rachel is acting so weird this season... but what is new? Girl needs help

. She looked great with the blonde hair though. I think Quinn realizes how truly nuts she really is. It was hard watching them be at each others necks in the first episode but I was glad when they made up. It was sad what Rachel said to her about her not meant to be a mother. Low blow.

Rachel and August are kinda hot??? I didnt mind seeing them together, but now Quinn is pregnant and it's probably his baby? WTF. That's juicy. I wonder if Quinn is going to keep the baby and just pass it off as Chets...

I like Tommy, he’s cute but I am biased because I love Francois.

His speaking voice is so strange on here though. I know he has an accent but he sounded okay on Midnight Texas so I wonder what is going on lol. It was super low and growly at times. Also, he already seems sort of obsessed with Rachel. Like... we've seen this storyline before, do we really need to go there again?

Alexi is back! YAY! He actually seemed to care about Jay. But i don't blame Jay for giving him the cold shoulder. It'll be interesting to see where that SL goes.

Thanks for the new thread! Thanks for bringing over Alexa's thoughts on the first couple of episodes.

I agree with all of your thoughts, Alexa, and Rachel with the blonde highlights is really pretty. I think she took what was said about her being alone to heart and really really wants to end up with someone (anyone). I don't know if that is prove people wrong or because she is actually lonely.

I'm sad that Jay is still doing drugs.

I've seen 2 eps as well. I'm sad that Jay is still doing drugs. I was hoping he'd be the better man than Alexi who seems to be doing much better but I won't be surprised if he relapsed as well.

Whoah, Quinn is pregnant huh? The preggy trope. Did she not tell Rachel because she thinks that Rachel would think she wouldn't be able to handle a baby? I don't like Chet & Quinn together but Chet's reaction was really nice.

I'm glad there's no Jeremy so far and the new EP, Jason (?) is kinda okay. I'm not exactly sure how Rachel became the Suitress? I'm not happy August is back but he looks to be Rachel's new Adam.

Morgan works for the bosses now? I'm confused with the timeline. So Quinn left and Rachel was left to deal with the show so she made some changes. Didn't she leave and took time away at the end of S3?

^i think it picks up a couple of months after season 3 ended.

Quinn was on a yacht with Chet (and focused on Passport to Dance); so, she wasn't really responsive to questions and such about Everlasting. That's when Rachel took over, came up with the game plan for the season, and hired the new EP. He is cute, but I definitely think he and Rachel are going to have a rocky romantic relationship.

I was hoping Jay would be the bigger man too.

Madison does work for the bosses now. Fiona (who was Quinn's friend) runs the network now.

August isn't as appealing as Adam. I wish Adam were back.

Ya Chet's reaction was cute when he found out, but then as that SL continues, it gets less cute and more muddy.

So if Fiona runs the network now, what happened to Gary?

I definitely agree that Adam is more charming and appealing than August. Why oh why does Freddie have to leave? He could've done this show and have a job for 4 years.

I'm almost done marathoning S4 and my god, Rachel is a whole other level of effed up

What a fascinating character, and Shiri is absolutely amazing playing her.

^Thanks for sharing! Shiri really does do an awesome job at portraying Rachel who is so disturbed on many levels. She's so manipulative and lost.

Didn't they take Gary down at the end of last season? I can't remember the specifics though TBH.

Adam is much more charming, but August is cute to look at.

He just doesn't have the chemistry or character appeal that Adam had.

I didnt get a chance to watch more unfortunately because I had to unexpectedly move all my stuff out my apartment (my landlord sold the place super fast) so Ive been moving the last 3 days and been so exhausted. But hopefully this weekend Ill be able to binge the rest.

Awww love it! I love the dynamic between between Quinn and Rachel. Since you are redacting season 1, is the Adam/Rachel love as great to watch as i remember it being?

Just finished rewatching episode 7 (the aftermath of Mary's suicide), and when she goes to his room and they just sleep together holding each other...

Then in the morning they're talking (and it's implied they've been talking for a while) and it's just...

Shiri and Freddie have insane chemistry, and I really think her relationship with Adam was the closest she had of a healthy relationship. I wish he could've been back for season 4, and while I loved all seasons none of them can really touch the utter perfection that is season 1.
