Numb3rs #1 - Numb3rs is Everything

Welcome to the Numb3rs appreciation thread.

Numb3rs is Everything

made bylady_devon

Guns and Roses

Good episode from the point of view of realtionships. Don gets a girlfriend. Like her better than Nadine. But lot of things bothered me.

Lets start by the girlfriend, so she thanks him for the last case ( The O.G.) seems like they haven't met between that but the way Don and Robin acted that scene out seemed liked they had met.

The Case : Okay, Don and David go in at the crime scene, Don gets out for obvious reasons what the hell was David doing???? I mean he didn'nt know that she was someone Don just knew until the phone call was mentioned. There was a photo on the bed of the dead woman (Nikki) with his boss and he doesn't notice it.??

And the position of the body, did that bothered anyone? seemed odd for a suicide. Shouldn't David have noticed that too?

Then they find out she has cancer from the husband, shouldn't they have find that out in the autopsy?

Then uggh this was just annoying, okay so Don goes back to the crime scene, he sits on the mattress ( which no idea why it was there, cos wouldn't the forensics people need it?) say they didn't ,there is no bedsheet or pillow on the mattress but the photos that were there on top of them during the beginning of the episode are now on the mattress in EXACTLY THE SAME POSITION (WTH??)

Larry was wearing a WEDDING RING during the experiment with Charlie and David. ( was wearing it in the episode Harvest too.)

I didn't like the case but Don was great as usual. Alan's advice to him. Glad that Don decided to give a relatinship a chance.

I liked Amita in this episode. There should be more C/A interaction where they are not talking about maths or cases. Loved that she called him on the using work as an excuse to not having relationship.

I didn't like the case, totally ruined the episode for me.

Anytime one of the guys on the show get some semblance of a love life, I guess you can consider me thrilled. It was nice to see Don be the one to get some action this time. I liked the ep. but it wasn't the best they could have done. Next week looks like it will be a lot more action packed.

The guys getting some love, that was the only best part of the episode. I think we are suposed to ignore the case it was all about Don having to deal with his issues of having a relationship. And its about time Don got some action.!

Worried Charlie is cute. How similar are Don and Charlie.?

Larry/charlie arguing ALWAYS fun to watch.

No Colby, seems David and Colby take turns missing eoisodes.

Next week does sound action packed. I read the summary at TV.Com.

Well Colby was definitely in last night's ep. I felt so bad for him because although the whole thing was an accident he kept on blaming himself for. But it's nothing that a little beer without your fellow partner can't fix.

Having a bullet come that close to your head would freak out anyone. I don't blame Charlie for being scared. It was just so cute when Amita came with him on his first trip back to the FBI offices. With only four episodes left, something has to happen with these two.

And then of course there is the family interaction at the end. I loved how after everything that had happened, Charlie and Don just sat there and bent spagetti noodles. It was just so funny. And their dad doesn't bother to disturb their fun, he just takes Megan to dinner. Overall great ep.

Well two things stood out in the preview for next week. One was the return of Will Patton. The second was it looked like David got shot. I hope that he will be ok. But we'll have to wait and see.

I loved that Amita went with Charlie to the FBI offices the first time after the incident too. That was too sweet. And yep, something has to happen with these two before the season ends. I loved their conversation in the last ep about Don (and him) making their work their lives, etc.

The end with the brothers and the spaghetti was great!

I loved Colby in the last episode. Much deserved character development for him.

Notice how Charlie saved his LAPTOP Don't blame him though.
And ITA Amita coming with Charlie was absolutely great. I love Amita in the last two episodes. And I honestly believe that there should be more C/A interaction which does not involve maths. They are great together.

Alan was as usual great. Loved the story about the bully and the last scene with Don and Charlie cute as always.

I was a little bothered how casual Don seemed to be about Charlie being scared. He kept saying he'll be alright, then Alan talked about the bully and how he waited till Charlie fought back to intervene, pretty much how Don does it, he wants Charlie to be stronger and deal with things but he always there when he needs him to step in.

David in the preview Worries me. I hope he's alright.

I hope David is ok too!!

I was a little surprised Don wasn't more worried about Charlie too. I mean he obviously saw how freaked out Charlie was.

I guess if you were to look at from a brotherly perspective, one would assume Don would show extreme worry and really be trying to do everything he can for Charlie.

I guess what you have to remember is that Don is an FBI agent who has become desensitized to all of the violence and everything that comes with it. So having more bullets flying around doesn't matter to him, its just another day on the job. And I believe Don figured Charlie would eventually find a way to deal with it the way he had. But that is just my perspective on it.

Loved Friday's ep. It just reminds me of how easy it is for someone with the right knowhow to screw with your life if they wanted to.

It was soo cute how Don was trying to protect Charlie and how he got all upset when he found out Charlie was still on the case. But how could he expect Charlie to just drop it when someone was messing with his big brother. They were soo cute at the end when Don called Charlie 'Chuck' and he called Don 'Donald' and they were on the verge of a words war when the ep cut out. Love the sibling rivalry.

Glad that David is ok. If your going to get shot anywhere, the shoulder is as good as any. Can't wait to see what they are lining up for the season finale, which will be here before we know it.

the episode too. It was fantastic. And DAVID IS OK, that was a huge relief.

sibling rivalry : oh I loved that scene. Charlie calling him Donald and then in the end I think Don called him a "nerd"

And I agree I mean Don would never back down if Charlie was in trouble, I was surprised that he thought Charlie would just walk away.

Missed Larry but Charlie calling him geographically challenged

The episode had good one liners. And liked Will Paton (forgetting the character's name) he was more likeable in this episode than the last one ( The OG )

And season finale I read the description of the episode somewhere it had something to do with Charlie and their mother's death. Very much looking forward to that.

Thanks Mel

Is anyone else disspapointed the attorney ( Robin) hasn't even been mentioned again. Was it just a onetime thing?.

And seriously they need to pay some attention to Charlie and Amita.

I agree neel. I'm disappointed about that too.

And also totally agree about Charlie/Amita.

Can't wait to see what happens tonight!

Why does it always seem like it is one step forward and then two steps back when it comes to Charlie and Amita. Friday's ep really focused on them making me think at the beginning they would be going somewhere finally. But then you hear about the job she has been offered and then they sort of fight and then they make up. And just when Charlie is leaning in for the kiss she stops him and walks out. I wish they would just have them go for it.

So next week is the finale and hopefully we get some closure, but it looks like we will get alot more than that. The preview looked drama packed.
