You need to give S1 couple episodes to really get into. From ep Blizzard the show picks up.

I binge watched s1-s4 in less than 4 months back in 2019, but had trouble with getting into s5 - I wasn't too found of Lucy, when she joined the show.

S6 was pretty impressive, and so far I'm enjoying s7 too.

As for favourite characters: Carter, Kerrie, Benton & Mark from the originals, and so far only Luka from the newer doctors. Abby is an interesting character, so far I like her... :

I’m used to being in the minority in fan spaces when I say I dislike Abby so it’s all good. I just believe she is miserable and is very selfish/doesn’t care about others.

for me personally I was already into season 1 from the pilot but that was with me having already seen some of the later seasons 6 years prior

idk if it would’ve made a difference if I hadn’t

I liked him, but also think that the show wasn't good just because of Clooney...

Doug & Carol had those rather annoying moments, and Doug is the obvious fan favourite

Doug & Carol were great together... They only had couple annoying moments more like half seasons
