I loved the movie and I figured I would love the show, though it was a bit different at the end and thank god for that.

I wasn't really into the movie. The only thing I liked about it funnily enough was Seth and Kate. I even watched recently after watching the show thinking well now I'm older maybe I'll like it better. But I didn't. Still only really cared about SK.:lol: And yes thank goodness he said yeah in the show. If it had went the way of the movie I would have been disappointed.

I didn't start off watching it as a joke but I went in thinking alright I'll give it a shot (but figured I wouldn't care for it) and then the next thing I knew I had watched all the episodes and was obsessed.:lol:

The actress in the movie sucked but man anything with GC in it is a must see for me

Yeah GC in that movie was sexy. And Madison D does a much much better job as Kate.:nod: I'm not a fan of JL but I guess to be fair Madison has much more material to work with with. Which is a huge problem I had with the movie.

I much prefer the tv cast to the movie cast.:lol: Which I guess isn't surprising. As I also prefer the tv character to all of the movie characters.

I actually only watched the first movie a few months ago and during the first half I remember thinking "wow, why didn't I watch this sooner?" Then it got to the second half of the movie and I was like :blank:

So when I heard about the show I figured it would be kind of crappy, but they proved me wrong. I prefer the tv cast too. Except I can't choose between George and DJ.

:lol: Everything seemed to happen so fast and I didn't like how it didn't go in depth with anything. It was just a strip club with vampires and there was lots of gore and that was it. And I get that that was all the movie probably needed to be for QT (and others) but for me I would have preferred more in depth plot line. Which is why I love the show so much. There is so much more rich backstory. Plus the movie characters... I just didn't really care for them. Seth and Kate were the only ones I cared about but even then it was hard to get too invested in them as characters.

That is what stopped me from watching the show too at first. I wasn't sure about it but I kept seeing some gifs on tumblr and then well I guess I'll give it a chance and if I don't like it I'm sure I'll see that pretty quickly.:lol: And then I couldn't stop watching.:lol:

Add me to the list please! I came across this show by accident when I wanted to watch the original movie on Netflix. I am so glad I clicked on it to check it out because I became obsessed with it. I love how it plays along like the movie but goes more in depth with the characters and the storyline of everyone. The Gecko brothers are just perfect. I am in love with Richie. I liked Richie in the movie too but on the show, the actor is very good. D.J. Cotrona voice even sounds like George Clooney and reminds me of him of a younger version. I am glad they are going to have a second season coming out. I am so ready!

I love the movie! I had no idea that there was a show about it. I'll have to watch it sometime. :D
