the way i see it, the ending isn't a "it was just a dream" ending. if it wasn't because of the split worlds, they wouldn't prevent it from splitting. by doing that they are now gone but also prevented more tragedies.
the official interactive guide really gave us a picture of which characters are now gone in the end. the family tree now less complicated. the last scene is also interesting. clearly a yellow raincoat in the back and Hannah naming her son Jonas. there are theories out there about another cycle starting etc. but i think it's just a nice touch. __________________

they didnt explain a few things:
-why they targeted young boys... especially when they had another time travel device. -why did martha see a version of herself in the forest and what is the black substance? /Why did Jonas see his father? -How did Claudia discover the origin world? -How did Silja get the scar?/How did Woller lose his eye? (though the second one is more of a joke I presume.) -What happened to Agnes? __________________
