"Cheers" Appreciation Thread #1- Where Everybody Knows Your Name
 

Can I see a show of hands or everybody who LOVES Cheers? It's definately one of my all-time favorite shows.

Does anyone have a favorite episode? :look:

:look: Thought we used to have a Cheers thread, but I guess it was lost a while ago.

So thanks for getting this one going. I added it to the thread guide.

Actually, I used to watch Cheers in HS and College when it came on late after the news. <sigh>

I prefer it's spinoff, but suffice to say, Frasier is my fave Cheers character. I also liked Rebecca, Woody, Lilith, Cliff, Sam, and Norm a lot. Not much of a Diane fan at all.

I don't know... I like Sam and Diane as opposed to Sam and Rebecca. And, hey, I'm a Rebecca... so that's saying a lot. :P I mean, who wouldn't want to end up with Sam???

I still the final episode of Season Five (Shelley Long's last season). Diane is talking with someone in one of the back rooms about her book (I think). Sam's under the pool table. And Diane rolls the Number 8 ball down and it gets stuck in Sam's mouth... Then, later in the epi.

Diane: Where were you?
Sam: Umm... I was at the dentist's. I had something... uhh... stuck in my teeth.

:P

BTW...I'm so tempted to ask about the series finale. I won't, but just simply mention it in hopes it brings some answers. If I happen to read them, then I'm sure it'll be an accident and in no way intentional. :innocent:

Wow, you couldn't even hold yourself over for a few days. You already know what happens in the finale. :lol: Cheers had a really, really good finale though. It's one of my favorites. :)
