yeah the show saved Tuesday nights for ABC with this new comedy line up
the lead cast must start getting expansive, it will depend on the contracts re-negociation to see if the show will be there for more years ratings are definately not a issue with this show |

Yeah ratings are fine. The problem is paying the leads. Once you get close to 10 seasons it becomes so expensive to pay them and that's why they decide on cancellation. Because convincing them to stay that long requires money.
I mean the Friends cast were earning about a million dollars per episode when they ended despite good ratings. The Middle is probably very far from that but you can get the idea. __________________

The Middle to end its run on ABC next year
EW has learned exclusively that The Middle — the ABC comedy about a middle-class family living in the small fictional town of Orson, Ind. — will end its nine-year run at the end of the 2017-18 season. |
