Ok...did anyone watch the season premiere? What did you think?

I haven't watched yet. It's on my DVR though. I'll come back after I watch.........maybe later tonight or maybe tomorrow.

I really didn't like the premeire, hopefully it will get better

I thought the premier was ok. It wasn't like "WOW" or anything but it was decent enough for me to take a 2nd look. Or maybe it's just the eye candy that is making me give it another shot. ;)

I liked the premiere...didn't love it. I'll probably keep watching...because The N is so good with guilty pleasure TV...so, yeah...Although, I like how it ended with Lacey knocking on Baily's door...

I def like the Lacey/Bailey thing. You're so right about the-N being guilty pleasure tv. ABC Family is that way for me too.

I'm a big surf junkie so I'll probably watch BtB no matter what.

I agree, the N and ABC Family are both guilty pleasures for me as well.

And yep, I'm a surf junkie myself which is why I'll stick around probably. :)

I'm more interested in Justin/Lacey ... because of the history ... and the fact that it's just so wrong! :)

I also like the whole Shoe/Dawn thing ... it's cute, and amusing watching him do things for her ... who could blame him? :P

I found it amusing how Bailey convinced two girls to have a threesome ... he'll be a funny character to watch for ...

Tonight's episode was good.

Dawn being rich wasn't shocking, nor dramatic...Birdie was just fishing for trouble...and when she got the ocean water in that family's breakfast. :sick:

Kai's friends were jerks...I didn't mind when she asked them if she stole the boards. I hope they are on less and less.

Bailey/Lacey are the ones to watch out for. I like how he rejected her...but, he obviously wants her so bad. And the look on Justin's face...it was more of jealousy, then the father figure. Did anyone else pick up on that?

You'll be seeing more of them and that local vs haole friction.

To be honest, the only thing I was focusing on was the Lacey/Bailey storyline...the other two were very forgettable.

Yup. You'll be seeing that Mily girl alot.


I'm like the complete opposite. The whole Lacey/Bailey storyline bored me. It could be because I don't like there characters. Liked the Dawn storyline minus Birdie. She get's on my nerves and is too damn nosey.

I don't know why, but there is something about this show that I really like. Some of the actors are horrible (mostly the little secondary characters. The short haired friend of Kai seriously irked my nerves. And WHERE have I seen her other friend before?) I really think it's Laci that makes the show worth watching for me.

I always have such a weakness for bad boys with a heart of gold on my TV shows and Bailey seems to be fitting the bill pretty well so far. I'm looking forward to what seems to be a 'shipping opportunity with him and Laci. Dawn annoys me, but if this is going to be a love triangle-that could spice things up. I really love Shoe so far and Kai is probably my favorite of the three Wavesync girls. Justin kind of bores me at this point, but I think there is some definite storyline opportunites there.

Right now I'm kind of underwhelmed with the storlines, but I'm looking forward to next week with the competition and everything. I think it may take a while for the show to really find it's groove, but I think it can.
