Ryan said that season 2 will focus on Hurricane Katrina
that seems really strange. like, what about it? its not a crime story.

idk, whats the title even gonna be? how does it relate at all to the "american crime story" premise?

Jon_Robb66 03-25-2016 04:53 PM

Robert was still on the team during the trial.

I think they're framing it that how the American government handled it was a crime.

I hope it does too, I watched the last three episodes and regret not watching from the beginning. I was 9 when all this started and didn't really know or care what was going on at the time. Maybe I can catch the episodes on demand or something.

I think maybe it would be on the crime that resulted from Katrina-almost like a focus on the aftermath?

Yeah knowing how the trial ends up - it is so frustrating. He was so obviously guilty and even Robert K., his best friend, knows it. It's honestly depressing.

True. I can't imagine the stress the attorneys felt. :thud:

well at least hes back in jail now and everyone knows the truth.

Jon_Robb66 03-27-2016 05:42 PM

He's now in jail for different charges. I don't think they ever redid the case of Nicole's death. Kris Jenner (she was one of Nicole's friends) said she wished she would have warned Nicole of OJ's past with women in a recent interniew.

Alexa 03-27-2016 07:35 PM

well yes, but still jail.

I don't think he served time for the civil court trial.

Btw, Sarah studied her character through videos of her at the trial.

In the us there is double jeopardy you can never be judged for the same crime after your found innocent in criminal court

When we finished the incredible journey of creating this groundbreaking project, The People v. OJ Simpson, we all knew we’d created something incredibly wonderful and special together! It was an opportunity of a lifetime to work with such a dream cast and to portray a man like Johnnie Cochran. To receive an Emmy nomination today is the continuation of this phenomenal journey and is indeed a true blessing and honor. I am overjoyed that my wife, my mother, and children are here to enjoy this moment with me. Although the disease ALS has taken my mother’s ability to speak, I see joy and pride written all over her face right now. Being surrounded by my family - at this very moment - means everything to me!

This, along with GOT, was the best show I've seen so far this year.

So happy for the entire cast, especially Sarah Paulson and Sterling K. Brown.
