Oh, 'Brother': CBS sidelines Kelley series "The Brotherhood of Poland, N.H.," writer-producer David E. Kelley's dramedy about small-town life, has been sent to pasture by CBS. The network is yanking the low-rated series from its 10 p.m. Wednesday berth in favor of various specials for the November sweep. Officially, the network said "Brotherhood" is on hiatus, but the future of the show from 20th Century Fox Television appears doubtful at best. After receiving a call from the network early Thursday afternoon, Kelley told the cast and crew that production would shut down immediately. The producers had just completed shooting the ninth episode; a total of five episodes aired since the Sept. 24 premiere. Through a spokeswoman, Kelley declined comment. (Scott __________________

Pardon my attitude, but Boomtown was doing fine, but NBC decided to screw with everything, cancel Boomtown, move Third Watch to its time, and put a new reality show, Average Joe in its place.

I actually read NBC is stating that Boomtown is on hiatus, it's future uncertain. But we all know what that means!

How about "Coupling" on NBC? I hear it's being replaced with Whoopi's new show.

I can't believe Boomtown got canned, I really liked that show, I loved seeing Donnie do his acting thing, he was great... I'm sad about this one.

I dunno about the other two, but Boomtown was a cop/attorney drama, with Donnie Wahlberg in it, and they had just added Vanessa Williams to it also, but I guess that wasn't enough to help it out.
