Honestly I wasn't sure about Lone Star in the beginning but I'm glad I gave it a shot because this show turned out to be much more interesting than I had expected, I love the characters and the writing and it's definitely more diverse than the original 9-1-1 show, now I love Lone Star just as much as the original show I'm kinda sad that season 1 has ended now I can't wait for season 2!

Only I wish that they can stop focus on Owen, TK and Judd more than the rest of them since I notice that they didn't use POC more.. I mean..

yeah there seems to be more focus on Owen, TK and Judd and even Michelle compared to the other characters, but it's understandable considering they are the main characters, the others seem to be just supporting characters. Even on the original 911 show there's seems to be more focus on Athena & Bobby than the other characters.

I do love Owen, TK Michelle and Judd, but I hope the other characters get more focus next season too

Nah, the creators admit that all of the main characters bec if they are supporting then they shouldn't be in front and all that unlike I have see supporting characters.. But hey.. It show that they prefer to show to focus on white characters.. Since we still dunno about PoC characters including Judd's wife too.. Plus the creator of show admit that he had seen all the complain about it..

But we see a lot of Judd's wife on the show, she seems to have a lot of screentime, even more than some of the firefighters do, and the season finale was mostly focused on her character. Maybe the reason why Grace has so much focus & screentime is partially because she's married to Judd and Judd has a lot of focus too, I'm not sure, but for a black supporting character she gets a lot of screentime on the show, she's almost like a main character I think.

I wish Marjan, Paul and Mateo would get more focus, even though the showrunners said they're all main characters but based on how much focus and screentime these characters actually get, Marjan, Paul and Mateo just seem to be more like supporting characters, most of the time their characters are just there. Most of the storylines are always about either Owen, TK, Judd or Michelle.

But do we know her beside as his wife? No.. That's the things..

Even tho end of the day, this is FOX show which that mean they only want to show the audience as long they don't want to lose the audience meaning, less focus on PoC and LGBT..

I just watched the new season 2 premiere and I liked it a lot actually, as much as I miss Liv Tyler's character Michelle, but I really like her replacement Tommy played by Gina Torres. Even though we've only seen Tommy in 1 ep so far, but I think she is a great addition to the show and is already fitting into the team nicely.

I like the show, but I have main problem w/ the show that I felt like there aren't any development at all when they skip so many things.. I just like.. show us the development than show us the crisis whenever they go on the job..
