I don't get to watch the next episode till tonight

Saw the episode this morning. Wrote this over tumblr, but thought it would post it here too.

• It was bit slower and not as good as the first episode. But it was still a good one.
• The promo for this episode made me believe that the kidnapping of Harry would be earlier in the episode. I think that is why it felt to slow because I was expecting that sooner.
• I really thought we would have more of the animals. Seeing how much they did promo for it. So was bit disappointed with that too.
• I wasn’t surprised that the creep killed the lawyer.
• May being so smart and finding a way to help the kid with the vent. It was so nice to see.
• Buck knowing Eddie so well. I just love to see it. ♥ The scene when they talked was good.
• That scene with Eddie, Buck, Ravi, Ana & Christopher was so weird. But I love to see both Eddie and Buck picking up Christopher to hug him.
• The Chim and Hen scene was great. I’m glad Hen told Chim what to do with Maddie.
• I get that Athena doesn’t want to act like a victim, but didn’t anyone else think that they needed to watch her house too? Like no one realized it before the detective spelled it out for her.
• That Maddie and Jee-Yun scene was scary. But so glad Jee-Yun are okay. But I truly feel for Maddie.

I know when the Blackout saga ends, I'm gonna rewatch like a movie.

Sounds like a good plan.

I really wonder if we will find out who is behind the blackout. Seeing that next episode might be alot of them trying to save Harry , I'm not sure how much time we will get for them to find out about that.

That's a good point. I guess the who isn't as relevant for the characters. Though with the Police Captain involved (LOVE THAT!), we should get some resolution on how power is restored. But I doubt who is going to relevant.

I cannot wait for the FireFam to come together and save their little bro.

I think I actually enjoyed this episode more than the first one, it didn't felt slower to me. :') But I agree that the promo was super misleading, I kept waiting for Harry to be kidnapped sooner. And I was expecting the thing with the animals from the zoo to be bigger too.

I'm very curious to know who is behind the blackout too, whoever is doing this has some serious power. I really hope we find out who it is, if not now, then maybe later in the show when they attack again.

And yess, I can't wait to see them all work together to save Harry. and to see Athena get that creep for good this time

Yeah, the promos were super misleading. The helicopter was in this when it was shown more for the premiere. The kidnapping will be next episode. The animals were a small (yet fun) portion.

It really feels like it could be a movie.

At least it was so much better than the last season since I don't remember much happen in last one.. Beside Eddie got shot..

The Blackout saga is already so much more WOW and exciting than last season.

I find it very interesting that they filmed so much for this week episode that they had to cut it in two. So the episode that was supposed to be episode 3 is now instead episode 4.

Yeah, the episode description for the now episode 4 came out before the episode that will air on Monday now. The fourth episode name had number three of the season and Mondays date on them before it was changed.

I had no idea about that either.

I think S4 had a lot of great episodes too, the ones that stand out for me are the "funny" ones, like the jinx or the treasure hunt episodes. But overall S5 is sounding super promising, and I'm enjoying this Blackout saga a lot more than the mudslide from last season.

S5 sounds angsty and very promising, but indeed for S4 it's definitely the funny episodes. The dynamic of the team was so wonderful.
