They should never be more than friends. The idea that people of the opposite sex can't just be friends is insulting and the show would be really feeding into that if they feel the need to undermine this friendship in that way. There's no real reason to go there, and plenty of reason not to, tbh.

It could go either way, but them trying to make it look like they are going there does suggest that they won't. Just hoping that the promo actually is as misleading as I think it is, tbh. I just want lots of sleuthing, and more building of their friendship outside of his relationship with Hanna, it bothers me when people say they only bother with each other because of Hanna and they're not genuinely friends.

They definitely are. Caleb cares about all of the girls, not just Hanna. He's made an effort to know and understand them all. I don't get why some people refuse to see him as Spencer, Emily and Aria's friend as well as Hanna's boyfriend.

Yep. Trying to take that away kind of takes away from his character, imo. It overlooks that he's a fantastic friend to the girls, that he's the sort of guy that makes an effort even when he doesn't necessarily have to.

I hate not trusting them to avoid making a huge mistake like that. Not as if it would be the first one, though Of course, I'm still choosing to believe that it's not going to happen. I never want them to destroy this friendship, especially like that.
