Even though it feels weird to see everything open again and so many people on the street. :') We have a 85% rate of vaccination, I hope that is enough. :/

We look like there are no restrictions here but the cases are not that good. Also there's a high rate of people that don't want to get vaccinated

And here the cases are okay for now... But we have barely any restrictions, just a mandatory use of masks in some places. And night clubs are open again, so IDK what is gonna happen. :')

I feel like social media such as Facebook spreads a lot of misinformation about the vaccine so people read that and decide they don't want the vaccination

I know it's a personal choice, but I really can't stand anti-vaxxers

The side effects aren't even that bad, not sure what everyone is whining about honestly lol

I find anti-vaxxers are similar to those people who knock on your door preaching about their religion

Here the 3rd dose already started being given today, actually, but only for people over 65 years old. They can even get the 3rd dose and the regular flu shot all in the same day, one in each arm.

And yea, the side effects are really just one or two days in which you feel a bit meh, and your arm hurts... and that's it lol. I'm super relieved that I have it and that so many people around me do too, I don't get how people feel safer without anything.

My friend will not be getting the vaccination because she believes it was released to fast and affects your immune system. She even moved out of the city to avoid getting notified to get the vaccination because they will be making it mandatory soon

I think it has the same effects on the other doses, I think they are giving a 3rd dose because the effect of the other doses is getting lower in older people, so they are not as well protected anymore (because most people over 65 here already got vaccinated in May or something).

And omg.

That sounds a bit insane, I can't believe she actually moved out to avoid it.

I agree it is I am already jabbed up with both doses.

Oh ok that makes sense, I imagined that there would be more booster shots in the near future just to make the vaccine more effective. There's a bit of drama with the vaccinations here in NZ, a lot of people are protesting the new legislation that 90% of all District Health Boards will need to enforce vaccinations for us to have more freedoms aka less lockdowns.

There were a myriad of reasons she wanted to move but that was definitely one of the reasons that stood out for me
