I agree, they couldn't afford for Erica to be caught like that.
 And Allison was taking care of Matt It did make more sense, but I think it was also because Scott knew Erica better than Matt too.__________________

None of them really knew Matt. He kept himself pretty closed off.
Erica was an outcast, but after the transformation she started to finally get noticed. Scott may not have feelings for her in the sense of love and romance, but he does care for her. I wouldn't mind having scenes of them hanging out. |

Great video! I especially love the scenes of them from the beginning of the season. Before she turned and right after she turned, they interacted the most I think. I still love that he sensed her seizure.

I realised that to. He was the one to help her after she fell off the climbing wall and he held her hand through the seizure. That was a sweet moment.

I never thought about it much but before the bite Scott had pretty much the same situation as Erica. He suffered from Asthma attacks. In a way the bite really helped them both. Erica more so, but still--they have a lot in common.

They do have that in common
They don't bring up Scott's asthma much anymore, but it's true. They both had serious physical ailments before they were turned.__________________

I wonder if their parents questioned their sudden recoverys.
They were both pretty bad off, so I could see the parents wanting answers. Melissa knows now, but we have yet to meet Erica's parents. |

Not if she was in and out of the hospital before the transformation like they implied. I would seriously question their parenting if they didn't notice that the changes in their daughter, even beyond her health.
