Love that first scene :lmao: ... awkward! They've got chemistry :D and I really enjoy their scenes together. He's an interesting character, and I find him attractive too. If they do a triangle, it will really pull me in different directions :bawl:. I like them as friends right now though.

I was torn between Gabe and Vincent in season 1 but I dont like Vincent this season so The Detectives!

I'm not really into shipping at all this season to be honest.

I know what you mean, Ashley :lol: I ship Tess & JT but at the moment that's pretty much it.

I really like Gabe & Cat's friendship though, it's good she has someone who's there for her.

:nod: Yeah, same here. I ship Tess/JT and enjoy the Cat/Gabe friendship, but that's about it.

I've finally caught up on season two episodes!

I don't know how I have suddenly gone from loving everything about Vincent and Catherine for over a year to now wanting Catherine to have nothing to do with him and liking her and Gabe :eek:

It wasn't until the last episode when the played the civil wars song poison and wine and she hugged him that I finally could see it. Gabe is there for her unconditionally, he is there for her in a way Vincent can't be.

It's a great relationship they are developing between the two.

Both Vincent and Gabe have changed a lot, very quickly :nod: I'm glad Gabe's there for Cat, she deserves that.

It's a little surreal for me ... in the original show, Gabe/Gabriel is the name of the character who kidnapped Catherine, held her hostage and took her/Vincent's baby. Then had her injected with a fatal dose of morphine, leading her to die in Vincent's arms :bawl:. They really changed some things around :lol:.

It's the same for me too. Last season I was in love with Vincent/Cat but I just can't anymore. It's like Catherine has just gone through too much crap for him.

We may differ here, though. Alot of it is also because Im really not liking Vincent this season. He used to be this doctor with a big heart who just wanted to save everybody (like when he gave medical help to those two immigrant girls) which I loved about him but now he's been totally cold and that kind heartedness is missing. It's like he just stop caring.

Well, I have been slowing switching toward Gabe/Cat from the beginning of season 2. I would say that I started loving them in 2x05. I loved the way he was like "we need to get you out of here now" (all protective). When he and Vincent had that p***ing contest, I really wanted her to go with Gabe. Plus, that was the first time that I realized Gabe makes time to help her do the human things. They were at her reunion and it got wrecked! She shoul have been laughing with her friends and reminiscing about old times. No one in the inner circle took time to sit with her afterward and reminisce, except for Gabe. He came back to do exactly that with her and they sat their together looking at her old HS photos. They were laughing and flirting and it was just perfect :sigh:

That may be due to the fact that so many fans ended up likeing Gabe. Im glad they haven't gone that way with him so far
