I'm hoping they bring over SOME elements from the original series, without ripping off anything. The series had so many wonderful characters, the world Below (Tunnel world where Vincent lived, beneath NYC ... a la Phantom of the Opera
 ), the people ... the special bond that Vincent and Catherine had. I'm looking forward to finding some similarities, and will savor them and the "Oh wow, that's new" moments. I'm pretty excited.__________________

I love the Disney version!! I also love the original tv series and have it in my dvd player currently

Disney's Beauty & the Beast is my all time fav cartoon. I love love Belle
Recently my 4 yrs old cousin watched Disney's BatB for the first time, & she was rooting for Gaston & Belle. She was so sad when Gaston died __________________
