Hi everyone!
has anyone watched the pilot yet? I just finished it and it was pretty good (I actually really enjoyed it) It gives me sort of a Lost feeling too which IMO is always a plus __________________

I just finished the Pilot. These are my first thoughts about it. Sorry it not the best review. I've never been good with them.
Charlie - She had some head smacking moments, but I add that all up to how naive she is and that she lead a pretty shelter life. Her heart is in the right place and her intentions are good. I do hope that the events that happened to her in the Pilot will make her more cautious. I can understand to some degree why she resents Maggie, but her attitude got on my nerves a few times. I personally don't think Tracy is a bad actress either. Danny - He's go the same temperament that his sister has, but other than the incident with his father he comes off more cautious and doesn't want to have any of the adventures that Charlie does either. Just like Charlie though he has a good heart and is a bit sheltered and naive. Smart move of him with the escape bit even if it didn't work out. Man to has asthma and not have really any means to help it. The whole sequence with his Dad was really sad. I know he thought he was doing the right thing, but it was really a bad move and he's going to have to live with that. I don't know I have a feeling whatever he might go through is going to make him grow up fast and not in a good way. I worry about him. Aaron - Why do I think of Eric Kripke when I watch him. I think he's represent the everyday kind of person to some degree. Almost serves at the audience member of the show. Other then that I didn't really get a feel off of him. Nate - I pretty much already knew he was apart of the Militia. I was sure he was apart of it for a reason and not because he actually believes what they stand for. The fact he saved Charlie's life that second time makes me think that way. I really hope it's not just because she's a pretty girl. Captain Tom Neville - He's got that creepy vibe down which I know some said that's his specialty. What we got so far I thought was good. He makes a good lackey/bad guy, but I'm sure they will flesh it out more. The Algebra teacher - I really wonder if she knew who Danny was? I wonder who she is and who she is communicating with? Why do I get the feeling it's Danny's mom. Monroe - Not to much to say about him other then I knew that was going to be him from spoilers and such. I have seen the actor before on the show The Cape. Wasn't a fan of that show. Maggie - She's awesome! I love how she is able too use her knowledge to trick those guys with the alcohol. She has a good head on her shoulders. I liked that she went after Danny because she cares about him. She might of done it for Ben too, but I get the feeling it's for Danny. The way that she interacted with Danny makes me think they are pretty close. I think she has become a mother figure in his life and Danny see her in that way to a degree too. I also like how she deals with Charlie as well. She could easily become the "bad guy" with the attitude Charlie gives her, but instead she's calm and firm. She's just a great character. Miles - He's a badass. I really love his character. I really love Billy Burke too. Aside from Maggie he's my favorite character from the Pilot. I thought he might have been apart of the military. That whole fight sequence was whoa! I liked that he called out Charlie's mistake and his reasoning behind why he didn't and then eventually did go. It's a nice starting off point to his character to evolve from over the series. Also you feel that their is a lot of backstory to his character. I liked how he handled Nate too. I mean he wasn't accusing him or anything even after he saw the brand (?). He just was casual about it. I think the whole being apart of the Militia is not going to be such a black and white issue which I like. He's just a very intriguing character. I liked the scenery and the visual effect. Overall the Pilot was intriguing enough that I'm willing to give it a chance. It felt like a beginning of a good story. I thought it was nicely paced. I just hope it will be able to hold that up unlike other shows in the past. __________________

watched the pilot, really really enjoyed it! i knew i was going to, it's JJ and eric!!! i'm really excited to see how all of this plays out. all of the different stories. it really got me interested in seeing what is next for everyone involved.
and i really want some flashbacks!! like how did sebastian go from miles seemingly best friend to head of the militia? and i definitely don't think that charlie's mom is actually dead. they recast/casted for a reason and it wasn't just for a one episode thing i think she was the one on the opposite end of the computer. which makes me want to know A WHOLE lot more about algebra teacher. i expected charlie to be a little whiny in this episode, because she's lived in a sheltered life, i just am excited to see her growth, because i think she could be awesome and tracy was good in the pilot. neville, i think i kind of like him? even though i'm totally not supposed to. but giancarlo is amazing. he has that creepy/commanding vibe down pat. the only character i'm not sold on yet, is maggie. and idk why. it's cool that she's a doctor.. but idk maybe in future eps we'll get to know more overall it was a really good pilot and i'm excited for more. definitely __________________
