JD Pardo stars as Nate, a member of the militia with conflicted feelings for Charlie
Matheson (Tracy Spiridakos) in NBC's "Revolution." Pardo began his acting career
in NBC's 2004 series "American Dream" and "Clubhouse." Playing recurring arcs
on both shows, Pardo soon drew attention and was cast in the movie "A Girl Like
Me: The Gwen Araujo Story," which chronicles the true story of a transgendered
teen, Gwen Araujo, who was murdered. He was nominated for an Imagen
Foundation Award, which honors positive portrayal of Latinos in the media.

Pardo's success continued in 2007, when he joined Emma Stone, Nathan Fillion
and Melanie Lynskey in the series "Drive," created by Tim Minear and Ben Queen.
The following year he was cast in the Guillermo Arriaga film "The Burning Plain."
Starring alongside Charlize Theron and Jennifer Lawrence, Pardo made his mark
on screen as a young teenager trying to piece together his shattered life. He will
next appear in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2." He also co-starred in
the film "Snitch" with Dwayne Johnson.

Pardo currently resides in Los Angeles.

Thanks for the new thread, Melanie! :flowers:

Two suggestions: In the title, add - J.D Pardo after the quote so it can be seen at a glance who said it; and add a link somewhere in the OP to the previous thread for this character.

One more thing - add me!

TFTNT! You guys are on fire !

I like the title, maybe with his own militia he would do good, instead of his father .

~MelBelle~ 09-18-2013 03:58 PM

It certainly would be interesting to see how he could lead

Lutesse 09-18-2013 04:04 PM

That actually would be interesting - but I don't want him to take a page out of dear old dad's Monroe Doctrine book. A "citizens militia" would be appropriate given the new reality of life post-electricity.

tbh I think the closest we'll get of Jason becoming a leader, is if he has to lead a group of Militia.

Lutesse 09-19-2013 03:01 PM

ITA. He seems more the lone-wolf type to me. As Nate.

~MelBelle~ 09-19-2013 04:08 PM

 exactly, but also there's allot he still needs to learn.

Lutesse 09-20-2013 06:41 AM

I think Jason already learned way more than he wanted to - about violence, cruelty, vengeance .. power - and he seemed not to want any part of it. The reason I liked the new thread title is that J.D. said it as a joke - it's actually the last thing you'd expect of Jason. I could more likely see him gathering other people who just want peace and a kinder, gentler lifestyle and starting a commune in some quiet place. Sort of like what Ben was leading before the militia showed up, but much farther away. Maybe California. :D

I hope they pull a California story arc...I'm really curious how it all looks, and why they are one of the toughest to fight against. My sister and I joke that it's because we're already so broke over here that once the power blacked it didn't take as long to adjust too

Thanks for the new thread. ;)

Earlier this month, J.D. was in Denver to give some interviews that I couldn't find anywhere, but here are some pictures...
