Man, that episode ending was just...daaaamn.
All in all though, I was actually pleasantly surprised at how good of an episode it was. I liked it! |

I wanted to like the episode but it was just too much Aaron and his annoying wife and too little Monroe and Miles for my taste. Next episode looks very exicting though.

this was one of my favourite ep this season. I loved it!
The mystery of the nanotech is my favourite storyline in the show, so it was awesome to see them take a break from the patriots etc. and just focus entirely on the nanotech. Aaron hasn't had many good scenes recently so it was a nice change to see the episode centred around him. Also I loved seeing Aaron's mind versions of Charlie, Rachel, Miles, Bass etc. AND NORA  there were some great, funny scenes too. Particularly in Miles' cabin/house, when Aaron called them his friends, but then turned to Bass and reconsidered  and in the car, Bass' comment about the snake dream Just one question, I didn't think Aaron knew about Rachel's affair. I don't remember it ever coming up with them, did I just miss a scene or did Ben tell him, maybe?  __________________

 I agree that there was too much Aaron but it was still a great episode. A dream within a dream, WTH?! "You reject Skynet piece of crap!" Best line ever!  __________________

I liked the episode very much, too, though it wasn't quite as SciFi-ish as I hoped it would be. No matter, Aaron is one of my favorite characters so I was glad he got a -centric episode.
I thought it was particularly interesting that he chose Charlie to be the one who broke him free; but then of course she had to die because in 2014 she was just a little girl. I had to think about it a lot today to untangle the threads and make some sense of it. It was like a "Dreamcatcher" in more ways than one.  So Aaron saved the nanites in order to save Rachel (or so it seemed). Now they no longer need him and he has no control over them, what will they do? __________________

I loved this episode. It was nice to get an episode like this.
I wish we could have seen more of Rachel/Miles/Monroe. Their AU versions were really funny. __________________

Hey Everyone!!
 Thanks to Lutesse for linking me up to this thread Just thought I'd copy my thoughts on the episode!! I was really hesitant about this episode but it was actually good and I really liked it It felt like a nice break away from the usual... Enjoyed the other characters being involved and the twist with Aaron actually fixing the problem thinking he was awake was well played.. I honestly didnt see it coming lol Miles/Rach/Monroe was a good scene and knowing that this is all in Aarons head, it was funny to think if Rach and Monroe were actually friends once upon a time..?? Miles comment watching Neville on TV.. "ugh i hate that guy"  Would have been cool to have Charlie with the rest of the crew but oh well, we cant have everything I guess... Looking forward to next episode.. It looks intense.. |
