True. I think for now they need to get rid of the Oliver and Laurel love stories with other characters. Especially for Laurel. The Laurel/Tommy relationship is bringing down both characters. It seems like Oliver would always have brief relationships (considering I get the feeling McKenna/Oliver is going to end badly) until he gets back with Laurel

I think unlike the Laurel/Tommy relationship there can be a lot of character growth with Roy/Thea. Roy possibly changing his ways, because of Thea, or at least trying to.

agree... and yes, I do think that the McKenna and Oliver relationship is going to end badly.

I know we're only in Season 1 but for some reason I think Oliver at the moment has basically either Laurel or maybe Felicity at some point of possible Long term love interests.

McKenna... IDK. I love the actress. Depending on how the above shakes out I guess might determine her potential suitors but then again as the show progresses characters can be added so who knows.




agree that I think we're going to see more sides to Roy. And that Thea is going to have an impact on him. Course, it might be interesting too see what, if any kind of impact he has on Thea

I don't really consider Felicity to be a love interest. I think atm the Laurel is his only long term one. However things may change.
I don't mind McKenna, I think she is good for Oliver in a relationship sense (considering Helena/Ollie seems to be a tale of romance gone extremely wrong). It would be sad if something did tragic to happen to her.


However, I think Roy may also have negative impact on Thea as well. Right now, we only know that Roy is a thief. But Thea isn't necessary a "good girl"

I think Thea would be somewhat torn, because there is Laurel (who is a positive influence) then Roy (who may be a negative influence)

probably could be torn, yes. I have a feeling Oliver might not be wholly approving initially of Roy

Oliver would probably be the older "protective" brother, but I don't think Thea would necessary listen to him

oh, I imagine she won't. Thea is definetely someone who has a strong idea about what she wants to do most of the time.

True. It doesn't seem like Moria was around for her and it isn't like Moria is going to win mother of the year. Possibly her only parental figure (since her father's death) was Walter. But I don't know how Thea feels about him necessary. Considering her actions in 1x03, she did a lot of bad stuff and got away with it because her mother never grounded her

pretty much, yeah. Thea's pretty much got free reign, more or less so it would be interesting to see how she reacts if Oliver does go all protective on her / Roy and how she'd handle that... I have a feeling she'd try to sneak off regardless.
