I feel like Emily and Stephen have become so comfortable and familiar with each other at this point that most likely they do come up with a lot of those couple-y mannerisms on their own. They might discuss with the director and each other before shooting the scenes but I feel like they have a lot of input on what they do in scenes.

I'm sure they do talk about that stuff together and with the director. She leaned into that forehead kiss though. So I'm not sure about her not knowing he was going to kiss her.
