I love how much his character as grown on me. At first he was kind of annoying as hell but now he's got depth and an interesting back story.

I agree. He grew on me as Thea did. I like his personality and I was surprised about the story of his girl and his daughter.

Was very happy when it was released that he was gonna be a season/series regular next season
 felt from the start he intrigued me but than his story episode really made it more plus his dynamic with Quentin  its like Quentin has a "son" considering he only had daughters - plus the two are good for each other, both going through rough times and can understand each other__________________

I really enjoyed Rene again tonight. I just felt his storyline with the gym and having his daughter their learning self defense just made sense.

Me too. I just forgot for a moment what he did last season. Oh, I just want to forget the Curtis, Rene and Dinah I've seen in season 6. Although honestly I'm not liking Dinah as I did when she started in Arrow.

I think I will like him too. He is playing differently. Never expected he would help the new archer of Star City.

I agree. I like how they are following they own path. Dinah and Diggle playing cautious and their partners doing the opposite. And Curtis is like in the middle.

Rene being the mayor of Star City in the future is such a weird thing. The flashforward story is interesting but at the same time it makes me doubt about every character. I really like Rene, but looks like he's going to mess around soon
