I figured id make a thread just for William's character since we only have a thread for him and Oliver.

I'm honestly curious what do you guys want to see happen with his character? I see so many people saying they think he will end up with Thea and Roy somewhere else. I truly hope that does not play out because it would just be a related storyline. Sending William away for his safety. Been there done that. Look how that worked out. Yes, Roy and Thea would be way more capable of defending him but still. He's here i want to see him dealt with and the character grow. Thats just me...

This is a cute interview with Jack. Mostly about last weeks episode. Apparently he's got a taste for the stunts now. Apparently he wants to do more.

He always talked a bit about working with Josh last year.

“William is on a trip with his class and of course things go wrong, and William has to rescue his friends,” says Jack Moore, who turns 15 in April and first played Oliver’s offspring during Season 4. “A bunch of explosions go off, and I got to do some pretty cool stuff.”
Could it be that these recent months spent living with the Green Arrow has rubbed off on William, and infused in him the importance of stepping up during a crisis? “Yeah, I think so,” Moore says. “Oliver really has had an effect on him.”

Alas… any bonding that the two have enjoyed during the first half of Season 6 threatens to come undone imminently, as this week’s events reveal that Dad has been “suiting up” on the sly, and thus going against his word that he’d stay out of harm’s way (lest William lose a second parent).
“I think William will be very disappointed, because Oliver made a promise to him — and William is not used to being lied to,” Moore ventures. “I think it will really hurt William.”

Speaking with TVLine on Wednesday morning before starting his school day, Moore said that when he first entered the Arrowverse — during the December 2015 crossover with The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow — he had no idea that the role would get bigger two years later. In fact, it wasn’t until around the time of filming last season’s cliffhanger finale that he got word that William would be sticking around. (Reflecting on that harrowing, season-ending boat scene between Oliver, William and Adrian Chase, Moore says costar Josh Segarra “got so into character that he actually pulled my hair super-hard! But I didn’t mind, because it was really funny.”)
Now all settled in for Season 6, Moore embraces his ever-growing Arrow family. For one, TV dad Stephen Amell has been “very encouraging,” including during this week’s stunt scenes, and all told is “super-funny” and “super-nice.”
“Working with him has been a pleasure,” attests the teen.

Emily Bett Rickards, who plays Felicity, is no less than “awesome,” Moore effuses. “The scenes with her are really natural, I enjoy them so much.” (Moore adds that he, like William, likely would lean on Rickards for homework help in a pinch!) The young actor also formed an instant kinship with Willa Holland once Aunt Thea came out of her coma, as evidenced during their playful dancing during the “Olicity” wedding reception. “She is so much fun,” he reports.

As Moore looks to the future, it would seem that this week’s episode gave him a taste for heroism — and he likes it. “I want to do more stunts and all that,” he shares. “I want William to get dirty and start manning up!”

Honestly I would like to see character growth and development of his relationship with Oliver. He's still a kid so I don't think we can't see anything else happening

I won't read the interview until I watch the episode... which I should watch tomorrow and the new episode too

I cannot believe how old William is now. The first time we saw him he was still a little kid. It's very nice to have William being part of the cast now

(not sure if confirmed, but I have the feeling that he will stay)

I hope he stays. If they ship him off again then a lot of arcs and character development for him and Oliver will be pointless.

I liked seeing William so interested in the Arrow he was holding last episode. They are planting all sorts of bread crumbs that could point to future story line.

Also while Williams actions were so stupid I at least understood his actions. Last time a bomb went off his mother was killed. A bomb is about to go off again of course he scared for himself and for his father so ofcourse he’d want to be with him.

One of the few things i didn't like from the premiere even if i understand why the did was Felicity decided to send William to boarding school to be safe.

IF we have learned anything is if they both can be found then he can also be found by himself. Plus not to mention that a lot of last season was spend with Oliver letting william know he'd always have him and gawd forbid if anything happened he'd have felicity. The boarding school thing was a cop out so they didnt have to deal with him Guess what you brought him in before the last season so you should have dealt with him. Just how it is for me. Others will find that fine I'm sure. I do hope we at least see him again once Oliver gets out. Granted the Flashforwards do give you pause.

Just an article about the actor playing William in the Flashfowards and the heroic son arc. Doesn't really say how much he will be around but I'm assuming a decent amount for the flash forward storyline. I doubt we will see him in present day story arc. I do hope we see Roy in present day though.

I don't understand why Felicity will leave him there. It's probably not a safer place. Well, actually no place looks safe for them.

I am very intrigued with the future William though. The mystery will be so painstakingly slow and drive us nuts for a while.

It is intriguing, yet angsty. We will see which characters will be alive at that time of the flashforward.

Me too. They are not showing too much about him, with the exception that he seems to be some kind of geek in the future.

I already got accustomed to intriguing stuff since many TV shows I follow have slow plots sometimes. After all, that's what makes them good.
