Thanks for opening this thread!
"promises kept" oh... I don't like how that sounds "I keep my promises, kid" I really wanted for Slade and Oliver to be in peace for a while... I hope that what I imagine won't happen I won't watch the promo, I don't want to see any kind of spoilers, especially after reading that title __________________

I enjoyed the tie ins we got to Slades backstory. I like that he went back to ASIS at first and was with his son there. I like us seeing him fighting the hallucinations and the crazy. It wasn't until he saw Oliver was rescued that he went full on season two crazy. We also got a Grant mention. I loved the ending with Slade walking away into the smoke or fog. Whatever it was. It was a nice fitting shot. It was a good ending for Oliver and Slade but let open for future. Plus Joe is still out there and he seemed mighty interesting in knowing Oliver has a son. That scares me. On and I was so sure Joe saw Slade kill that guy in flashbacks last Epsiode. I was right.
It was nice seeing Lyla. I had no idea she'd been on them episode. I like her and Diggle scenes they were nice. I like that his wife was the first person he fessed up too. She reminded him who he was. I like Rene being chill after leanring what was going on with Diggle. He jsut excepted it. Little sad Dinah didn't fess up after it all but her "lie" his really More emotional. She needs figure out what she's feeling I suppose before she comes clean. The ending Oliver , William and Felicity scene was cute. I liked seeing Oliver hug his son after everything Slade was going through with Joe. __________________

Honestly, it is surprising to see how much Slade changed and it is also nice to see that Oliver was the one to help him to become in a better person. Now is time for Slade to save his son (and look for his other son? I didn't understand very well that scene).
I'm glad that Diggle clarified his issue with the drugs and his tremor. Curtis is right, they will find a solution to it. Even Lyla can talk with ARGUS to find something for that. Diggle and Lyla moments were lovely. Quote:

So people were confused and seemed to think that Joe said he killed Grant but thats not what was said. He mentioned Slade having another son and then mentioned his first kill was 6 months after he watched his dad kill that man. __________________

Oh, thanks, I didn't know that. I understood that he said he killed his brother, I was confused too . So... it will be interesting to see if Slade finds Grant. I guess he will be the same age than William, or close to his age.

I liked this episode, but it wasn't my favorite. I found it on the slow side..
There was a bit too much focus on Slade for me taste. I enjoy his character but I wish he was integrated into the storylines just a bit more subtly instead of putting the entire focus on him for this whole episode. But it seems he is gone again, so it'll be interesting to see where the storyline goes. I do love the Oliver/Slade interaction. I loved that when Oliver came home Felicity and William were hanging out, they are really cute. Glad that Diggle came forward about his tremor and the team understood. __________________
