5x18 - episode discussion

Diggle (David Ramsey) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) are shocked by Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) decision to call on the Bratva to help take down Prometheus (Josh Segurra). Concerned the Bratva may overstep, Diggle has a hard conversation with Oliver about what happens if things go south. Meanwhile, Felicity learns something shocking at Helix.

I was surprised by Oliver's darkness in this episode. He was really going to let Bratva do what they wanted. It's sad to see that Anatoly and Oliver's friendship had to be destroyed. I didn't want to see Anatoly like that.

This episode was Oliver calling Anatoli and Bratva in to stop Chase than now Oliver is at odds with Anatoli

Oliver is so broken at the beginning of this episode. It breaks my heart and it's so hard to watch. Especially when he's pushing them all away.

Love Dig keeping the faith and taken up the lead.

Quentin was being protective of Oliver. Didn't want him alone with Chase.

Damn Chase is so good with these mind games. He actually reminded me a bit of Sevastian blood in that scene In The mayors office though.

This Susan and Oliver scene is actually quite sad. Mainly because he's back to thinking he has to be alone and can't ever be close to anyone. Have I said how glad I am they didn't turn her into Isobel 2.0?

Ollie went to Bratva for help. Hello Anatoly.

Argus couldn't spring for them to have coms? Come on. I don't buy that.

Oh Ollie. Your mind is so fudged up you can't think straight. Listen to John damnit. Don't cross lines you wouldnt let them cross.

And now Felicity is so lost she agrees with what Oliver is doing. Helix has claws so deep into her.

You tell him John. He is your brother. Don't let him stay in that self pity mode. John/Ollie scenes always touch me.

Love Dinah/Rene both wanting to be the new Dig. cracked me up.

I get confused as to which me member is which when they are all in black.

Digs apartment. I feel likes its been forever since we seen it.

Oliver why punch Dig. He's just trying to protect your soul.

That's right Dig. Don't let him push you away. That's right a little break through. Bros all the way. I needed a hug right there. My bromance is alive and well.

Anatoly and Ollie are so going to come to blows. I'd like to see them at war with each other for S6.

So Ollie's idea to go back to Lian Yu.

Ollie trying to see Anatoly has more than he ever was. It's kind of sad. Really on both their parts. Anatoly blaming Oliver for leaving and him becoming who he is.

Chasing killing the protection detail and whistling has he drives away was truly creepy.

Yeah its weird how dead they were??? So strange.

Chase continuing to play games with Oliver was hard to watch, I was hoping to get a tiny break from him.

Seeing Oliver all down in the dumps and changed was depressing. I want him to pull out of his funk.

It sucks seeing Diggle and Oliver at odds. I hate whenever they aren't getting along.

I really enjoyed Curtis and the new team. Rene and Dinah discussing who was the new Diggle was pretty funny. I like this team a lot.

It was interesting to see Anatoly in the current timeline. Sucks that Oliver and he are no longer friends.
