CHINA WHITE, CUPID AND LIZA WARNER BREAK OUT OF PRISON — China White (guest star Kelly Hu), Cupid (guest star Amy Gumenick) and Liza Warner (guest star Rutina Wesley) break out of Iron Heights and head to Star City for revenge. Oliver (Stephen Amell) tries to bring in the newly formed girl gang but the ACU intervenes mid-fight. To his surprise, they are there to arrest the Green Arrow for the murder of Detective Malone. Meanwhile, Lance (Paul Blackthorne) feels responsible for the prison break after Warner tells him she heard about him working with Damien Darhk. Mary Lambert directed the episode written by Barbara Bloom & Jenny Lynn

I wasn't very convinced by this episode. It wasn't bad, but at times it looked unreal. Forcing Oliver to do things he definitely shouldn't do, like talk with the guy from the police about Green Arrow and say he talks with him (which had its consequences).

I think Thea did the right thing 100%, because after all Susan went really far to investigate who the Green Arrow is, she's not an angel and I'm sure she would reveal that Oliver is the Green Arrow if he answered "yes" for real. She protected him, perhaps it was a risky and controversial choice, but Oliver wouldn't imagine what could have had happened if she hadn't done that.

Although I like Dinah a lot, I'm not sure if the direction the writers are taking with Black Canary is the right one. Perhaps they have something in mind, but I don't know. I would rather not see a Black Canary anymore than keep looking at those plots with lack of coherence. Does Dinah deserve to play under Black Canary's mask, or to play her own role as a new vigilante?

Prometheus is doing it right, but Susan has helped a lot to put down Oliver Queen/Green Arrow's life. It's good to see that Oliver questions his own decisions from the past and present, but I hope this doesn't go too far. The writers keep touching this Oliver Queen might be Green Arrow conspiracy and I honestly don't like it. He has now a long historial as being pointed as a hooded vigilante. It's unbelievable that Star City or a few characters believe at this point that Green Arrow isn't Oliver Queen.

I like the episode but I did want it to be more especially with the return of China White. She felt underused to me though.

Thea was quite shady and I felt bad for Susan and for Oliver. I did love the ending Thea/Oliver scene a lot. It felt powerful. I loved the comparison with Moira and just really hit home.

Susan and Oliver are SO DAMN BORING together. Like, ew no. Stop please. I like that Felicity and Thea went to investigate her. Felicity calling her original was pretty hilarious. Thea getting her fired though? Wow, savage. I hope this means they are over now. lol.

I am starting to like Dinah a lot more but man, that canary cry is so annoying to me still. I am not sure where this storyline is going either, is she really going to be the new black canary?

The fight scene at the end was pretty cool to watch though. Its still hilarious to me though that people see Oliver’s face under the green arrow mask and dont recognize it’s him. lmao. So unrealistic.

This season is good and it's a lot better than season 4 imo but its just not all that exciting? IDK. I hope the end of the season picks up because Im not that invested in the storylines.
