Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) new recruits for Team Arrow are Curtis (Echo Kellum), Wild Dog (guest star Rick Gonzalez) and Evelyn Sharp (guest star Madison McLaughlin). Unfortunately, the Green Arrow’s training methods prove to be too much for some of them to handle. Meanwhile, in the flashbacks, Oliver’s initiation into the Bratva continues.
James Bamford directed the episode written by Speed Weed & Beth Schwartz (#502).

Episode starting with a chase....
.... talk about an epic fail from one of the recruits.

And of course Oliver is great with his arrow.

Rene it's best to be a on Team Arrow, because you still have a lot to learn. lol

Curtis not good with this training. lol
And of course Oliver does the lifting weights perfectional and Felicity think it hot. lol

Oliver not trusting the recruits with his real identity. Pretty wise.

That's nice that Diggle is giving one of the new guys some uplifting advice.

I love this Thea and Oliver scene! however, I don't like Thea not being on the team anymore.

I don't understand the writer's choice here.

If it's not broke, don't fix it. Diggle, Thea and Laurel were great for Team Arrow.

Felicity not wearing a mask.

Green Arrow training these recruits and it ain't easy as it shouldn't be...

We will see who can rang the bell...
ANd Arrow had a great point... they all have to be stronger if they are going to make it even a year.

Felicity and Oliver scene.

I loved Felicity trying to make a joke with Green Arrow. lol
Curtis having a difficult time with staying with codename. lol

Hilarious how the recruits doesn't know that Oliver is Green Arrow. lol

I actually enjoy Rene in this episode.
Green Arrow always with screaming and I like Felicity calling Green Arrow out about being physically and emotionally abusive... and this is all about Laurel Lance.

This shows how much Oliver is still impacted by Laurel's death.
If only the writers wrote Laurel/Oliver this great when Laurel was alive.

Oh Diggle in some trouble here.

Felicity with the new boyfriend that none of us have any feelings towards since we haven't really seen enough.

Felicity making up those lies. lol

The recruits leaving Green Arrow.

It make sense.

I loved Curtis speech here.

And wow Curtis speech was so painfully true.

Oliver tears people down, not bring them up.

I love these Oliver and Felicity scene.

And Felicity gave Oliver great advice.

and I love Oliver opening up to Felicity about Russia.
Still don't get why Oliver/Felicity aren't together...

Love seeing Thea spying on Tobias Church.

So, sad these soldiers walked into a trap.

Diggle will get out of this somehow though.
That's so sad what happened to one of the soldiers.

Shot down by one of his own.

This guy is the last living soul of Havenrock.

I think that's what I heard.
The fight between Tobias and Arrow was great though!

Oh Ragman helped Oliver.

This guy is trying to avenge his father's death and he's working with Green Arrow.

I love it. Aww and Green Arrow talked about how he failed.

Upsetting what's going on with Diggle.

Going to get blamed for everything in less he signs that contract.

An Quentin and Thea scene, I like that they have been sharing more and more!
Deputy Lance again! I can get with that.

What's going on with Felicity.

It better not be some pregnancy or something.

lol Hopefully it's not nothing to serious though...

Green Arrow revealed his identity to the crew.

not sure how I feel about it but I guess the trust gotta start somewhere.

Prometheus threatening Church not to attempt to kill Oliver.

Also Ragman and Prometheus look alike to me.

They really are hitting home the recalls to earlier seasons these two episodes. I did love the recall to the be something else opening monologues things. I also enjoyed those even though other people seemed to not after a while.

Dig bringing in Russia and the Nukes from last seasons. I like it. Where as I think S4 wasn't that great I now seeing everything they set out for this season and that atleast might give me a new appreciation.

I liked the return of the bars. Curtis trying to do them was funny. Then Oliver just showing him up and in an actual suit.

Oliver putting the recruits through the ringer.

I love that ring the bell line and how they tied it into a flashback. Good job making the flashbacks useful again writers. Thank you. Transition are so much better as well.

"Pretty Boy Queen"

Thea asking Quentin if he has been drinking again. I kind of wondered if he was drunk as well.

Not to happy about the magic/mystical things happening again but at least it still seems kind of cool for now. I'll wait to see how it plays out.

Oh Dig is being double crossed by some of the Army guys. Not cool.

So Felicitys dude is a cop. Still not sure how I feel about this. Seems unnecessary.

Curtis is being a little harsh but not totally untrue.

Oh about cried in anger with Dig when those bastards shot that young soldier.

I hope Dig gets his vengeance.

Some corporate lady is in bed with the shady. Not surprised at all

Oh look Oliver is back to doing it all alone.

Look here's where Felcitiys guilt about havenrock will start to set in.

Okay so I like the idea of bringing this guy as part of the team but how will he react when he learns Felicity changed the course of the nuke to HavenRock because it was less populated?

Dig being set up as the pasty. Not cool. Someone kick this dudes ass.

Quentin as deputy mayor. Interesting. I like Thea giving him the reason to stay sober.

So I was a little worried about how all the the masks might be to much but I think it just might work now. Time will tell.

"Rene Ramirez, you need to decide, if you wanna be a man in a hockey mask... or if you wanna be someone else... something else" I'm sure that was the best quote of the episode! I loved the tone he used to say it, I do love how Green Arrow character is improving!
I really like how Oliver is working now, but I'd make an exception about the new crew for the team. I know he has learnt in the hard way, but I don't agree with that. Laurel didn't die because of how she was trained, I don't think Roy or Thea would have survived to that. Only someone with the experience of Oliver, but he also wasn't able to avoid the magic of Darhk.
And poor Diggle, I know he didn't expect that.
So, a new metahuman in Star City? It'll be a big problem for Oliver.

I couldn't finish watching the episode, so I'll post again later.

No Gina.. Ive seen a lot of people that thought that as well.

It was kind of confusing because of the similarity in looks.

Loved watching Curtis and Oliver interact, and when Felicity called Oliver hot.

Classic Felicity that I love is back.

“I only wear a mask once a year and that’s if my Halloween costume calls for it.” LMAO! I love that Oliver thinks wearing a mask really disguises him haha.

Oliver taking down all the recruits was amazing. Of course I love the old team but I am kinda enjoying this new team.

I love how Oliver listens to Felicity.

Their scenes in the episode were amazing. I loved their second one so much where Felicity told him when she got to know him she was in awe of him.

Diggle’s storyline just bores me. I could care less about whats going on there and just want him back with the team.

Felicity’s boyfriend is cuter and more interesting now that we actually got a scene of him talking but we still need to know more about him.

Curtis’ speech to Oliver was a bit harsh. I was glad in the end that Oliver decided to reveal himself and that the new team came back.
