I really don't know what to say. I'm not watching the episode. I'm just not ready to see it happen yet. But I know it does happen.
I want to finish this season for closure, but I'm done waiting for the episodes and watching them weekly. Just gonna wait till the finale in May. __________________

That whole moment just seemed so awkward.. I mean they all said it, but the one person it would have meant the most for Laurel to hear it from was dead silent... seriously, WTH?!! And I don't mean a romantic love, because they haven't been that for ages, but Oliver loves Laurel, doesn't he??
I mean he loves Laurel like he loves Diggle or Thea.. so why the frack couldn't he say that to her?!!__________________

Because apparently the writers would prefer for him to say it to only one woman on the show, and pretend that season 1 never happened.

I mentioned this in the old thread, I don't mean to be salty or anything but from the perspective of someone who's still on season 1 I just find this turn of events really disappointing. Something was off from the beginning really (I could imagine having Oliver sleep with her sister, and Laurel with his best friend, wasn't otp material) but that's still messed up: why take a comic canon couple and make it non canon? I just don't know

I think that the fact they are non canon has to do with how people fell in love with Olicity and its popularity, and based on the writting of OL in season 1, with the love triangle, and the S2 love triangle... well, at that point the writers went too far with the drama and it started to be a toxic relationship for both... I mean, after all, they're non canon just because the writers made huge mistakes with their writing. As I said, I can understand that, but what I cannot get is why they stopped talking about their relationship.
