[6x19] "The Dragon" - Episode Discussion (Airs 4/19/18)

This was the epitome of filler and not proper timing.
This wasn't a Diaz/Siren episode..it was a Diaz episode through and through. Siren was his body guard which idk what he would've done had she not come...he'd be screwed. I totally enjoyed Black Siren in this episode though, she was the saving grace. She served sass, wtf-ness, and truth. I dont know what Ken was talking about Siren fans not liking this episode...unless he meant the actual episode itself. We were 19 episodes to late, this is all the stuff that should've been building up to Diaz killing Cayden who should've been part of this Quadrant. I have no problem getting a villain centric episode but I expected to get a Team-Villain episode when it was like 5 of em. All this did was make me pitty Diaz and not in the good way. |
I haven’t watched yet but I was intrigued with idea of heavy villain episode.

Didn't like the episode much. For some reason I was hoping Stephen Amell wouldn't appear on it... would have been the first (right?)
If the episode was meant to make people feel sympathy over Diaz then it failed miserably |
I liked the focus on Diaz....to know where he's coming from.
His childhood doesn't excuse anything, of course. But it was great storytelling. |
I didn't expect to watch an episode focused to him. And I was a little surprised of how devastated was Laurel after seeing him murdering a man under fire. He is a real monster... but yet he doesn't convince me as a feared villain.

I didn’t hate this episode nor did I love it. I really think it was needed a few episodes earlier then it aired.

definitely didnt like this episode, i found it boring with the focus on diaz. just dont care for ihm. Was so glad when Oliver showed up at the end.
