Here is another part of my breakdown. Since there were so many goodies in that car scene, I'm going to post the next few bits in pieces. :hippie:

• I loved that she thought that he wasn't the same man that she met way back when, that he had changed. I was just confused when she said that he terrified her when they met. It was probably true, since Klaus wasn't exactly Mr. Nice Guy when he first showed up in Mystic Falls, but I don't remember seeing her terror in any of their early moments together. :blank: :look: :shrug: I also loved it when she said that she was intrigued by him in the beginning, which is something that I've always thought was the case. Having the most powerful creature on the planet become interested in you is definitely intriguing. How could she resist that? :blush: And if you consider what she said, that she never felt safe, relaxed or herself with him back then, it's not much of a leap to assume that she feels all of those things in the now. :yay:

Technically I can see Caroline's point cause where he did bite her [than saved her] and he was tormenting her than boyfriend Tyler and her friends

So I think I can see her being terrified even if not shown but at the same time the intrigued for sure :) especially after she got to know him - Mystic Queen and than his charming her

I guess it's true. I just didn't see it in any of their scenes. If what she said was indeed true, if he did really terrify her, then she did a great job of hiding it. :blank: :shrug:

• She said that she didn't regret the time they'd spent together, and that she didn't regret meeting him! Oh, my feels! It was almost like she was telling him that she wanted to keep the good and the bad in their history, that she wouldn't change a thing about it. :in_love: And I loved how he looked so pleased...but he also tried to downplay it, like her confession that she didn't have regrets when it came to him wasn't a dream come true for him. :hippie: :cool: :lol: And it seemed to me that she was finally free to give him a confession that she hadn't voiced for fear of judgment. She just looked so at ease with him. I loved it all! :pinkie: :yay:

• I agree with her when she said that she thought she represented something for him back then, something innocent that reminded him of a part of himself that he lost and wished that he could get back. You could see that in the way he would look at her, especially after the scene where he said that he saw her light. He met her and he saw something that kept drawing him to her again and again. :sun: :in_love:

• The 'what if' that she wondered aloud about (i.e. if he would notice her if they never met until now) is a 'what if' that I've always wondered about. I mean, I love them so much that I'm positive that I would ship them in every universe, but for him to confirm that it would be impossible not to notice her just melted my heart. :melt: And if that wasn't enough reason to get hit in the feels, he continued...

The fond smile on Klaus' face before he made his confession told me that Klaus had also thought about that 'what if', and he believed that he would have noticed her in any time or place, that it would have been impossible not to. :slinkie: :in_love: And I loved how affected Caroline was by his confession. I mean, here's a girl that always felt like she was never the one or someone's first choice, and she finally got to hear that she would have caught Klaus' eye, regardless of when and where their story started. Oh, yes. And it looked like Caroline finally understood how deep his feelings for her went. :love_story:

• Caroline's final moment of the episode really bugged me, not because Elijah broke her neck and Klaus didn't react, but because we didn't see what happened to her afterwards. :no: :thud: I wonder if there are some post-episode fanfictions floating around that do describe what happened when she woke up. :lurking:
