^ A part of me will always be kind of sad that I didn't see that coming. Of course they were going to take the opportunity to neutralize Klaus if they could.

The amount of sass that that line had was so surprising. Who knew that Klaus had that in him?

^ It really is! A lot of the Klaus/Elena moments and lines are fuzzy in my head ...but that moment and line from Before Sunset is so very clear. I'll never forget it. It definitely left an impression. =p

^ It was! It was so unexpected that Klaus called himself one of the girls.

I have a question for you. When Klaus discovered that Elena was alive, why do you think he didn't do as he said he would do (i.e. the thread title)?

Do you mean when she returned at the end of TVD? I would assume that was Season 4 of TO - so assuming that he probably gave up caring to make more Hybrid's

I actually meant in season three of The Vampire Diaries when he discovered that she was alive. Why do you think he didn't just take Elena and leave Mystic Falls like he wanted to? Why did he settle for getting Elena to 'donate' her blood instead? What was it that kept him in Mystic Falls?

Off the top of my head I actually can not recall about that within the 3rd season I'll have to pay attention when I do TVD rewatch

^ That's okay. Even though season three is my favorite Klaus season, some things are still kind of fuzzy for me. I'm going to need to do a re-watch as well. I also have to keep an eye out to figure out how often the donations of blood were taken for Klaus to create his hybrids.

Another scene I really liked was the Mikaelson/Salvatore dinner party. Klaus didn't think Stefan and Damon were going to able to protect Elena, simply because their association with her was always going to put her in danger. I was always a little amused by that.
