I thought too that other characters who are important but not in the actual Avengers movie should deserve to have their own thread too since they are part of the franchise universe

Yep, it was announced that she, Chris, and Tom were all going to reprise their roles for the sequel

Yeah, so far I don't think I can ship them either. They just don't seem to fit in my eyes. It's cool that there's a fandom for them though

So what do you guys hope to see happen with Jane in the next movie?

My hopes for her are that she has a significant role to play in the film aside from reuniting with Thor. While I am a huge Jane/Thor shipper, I want her to be as important as he is in fighting the bad guys. I know she's his foil as a scientist so she won't be physically fighting, but I'd like her to use her own skills to make a major contribution, the same way Pepper does in the Iron Man movies.
