yeah if your not familiar with 50s style tv shows your not going to really get that humor

I watch and really enjoy many 50s, 60s, 70s shows, so I've loved every bit of the old sitcom elements. :)

wow we learned so much in this ep. so it looks like Wanda is controlling everything after all. and somehow is resurrecting vision dead body in this world. kinda creepy.

so Darcy now works for sword. glad she figured out how to hook up the tv show and figure out what's going on.

fly me to the moon 01-29-2021 04:55 PM

I thought the same thing...but why would Wanda go through all this trouble to make a small town disappear just so she can be with Vision. My first guess is: is she being manipulated? I'm not counting out a sub-division of Hydra out just yet.

I've seen lots of dead bodies resurrected; so I'm used to that by now...the last big resurrection was Superman. I'm not sure if Thanos killing off half the universe counts murder or not...I think he just snapped half the universe into Non-existance and Strange brought some people back into existance in Edgame to fight the Final War. Then Iron Man snapped everyone else in the Universe into existance and Thanos in his army out of existance.

yeah im not sure why either. that part is still confusing. hopefully we will learn more in future eps.

I don't know if she's actually resurrecting his dead body (which would be super creepy, because she IS sleeping with him). I think (hope?) it might be more that she's remembering what happened to him and how he died.

Having said that, I have a theory that Vision may not be entirely dead:

The radiation coming from the town is similar to the radiation from the big bang, which is where the infinity stones came from.

I can't help but wonder -- IS Vision's consciousness possibly alive, floating in the cosmic dust/radiation left over from when the Avengers destroyed the infinity stones?

He seems to have some sense of self-awareness (ie: when he thought something may be wrong, or when he had that odd look on his face at the end of episode 4, etc), so I'm having a hard time believing that he's all just a made-up version that Wanda created.

However, since Vision doesn't actually have a living body, I think Wanda gathered his consciousness up and gave him a body in her fantasy, and that this body will vanish once he steps outside the border of WestView, leaving his conscious floating in the cosmic dust/radiation/etc again for all eternity.

I mean... either that, or she DID resurrect his dead body and put his "mind" back into it (which would be a big YIKES... but maybe Shuri could fix him?)

I could be completely wrong either way, but I really want Vision to be "alive" somehow when this is all over.

I really enjoy this episode so much and we know more and more.. Ugh, I need another episode!

My Kind Of Crazy 01-30-2021 04:23 PM

yeah I need more episodes ASAP too. half hour isn't enough.

I like your theory on vision. I hope he is still alive too after all this.
