Aww, I hadn't thought about that. It could totally be, right after Thor leaves.

People also made a good point saying that the scene with Thor telling Loki about Frigga's death would mirror Loki coming to Earth to feed Thor the lie that their father was dead. Unfortunately this time it wouldn't be a hoax.
