Harry Potter author JK Rowling and Black Panther star Letitia Wright are among a number of women named as the most influential in Britain.

The two form part of Vogue's list of 25 women who are "an extraordinary cast of leaders defining – and redefining – the way we live now" in 2018.

Also part of the list are singer Dua Lipa, the new Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle, human rights lawyer Amal Clooney and fashion designer Stella McCartney, so they're all in pretty good company.

The magazine said of Rowling that "a generation belongs to her", while Wright is the country's "next household name".

"Her honesty when discussing her struggle with depression and speaking about her faith makes her the perfect pin-up for now," it adds of the Marvel star.

Meanwhile, Rowling revealed this week she has begun work on the script for Fantastic Beasts 3, ahead of the release of second movie Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindlewald later this year.

Writing on her blog, she confirmed: "I've just finished the fourth [Robert] Galbraith [Strike] novel, Lethal White, and I'm now writing the screenplay for Fantastic Beasts 3."

On the Wright side of things, the Shuri actress may have given us a big spoiler for Avengers 4 at the MCM London Comic-Con this week.
