There's also a lot of fans being intolerant of criticism of the new film. People need to respect each others' opinins and the right to have differing views.

it's inevitable. Because how would you feel if people dissed something you love?

Well, people diss things I love all the time. People can disagree all they like, but when they get to the point of trying to condemn others for having an opinion they don't like, that's when it crosses the line. People need to learn to tolerate hearing views they don't like. There's an increasing intolerance towards differing views in modern society. All too often, nobody wants to listen to anybody else's views if they're different from their own. That leads to polarized politics. Next thing you know, somebody like Trump gets elected.

I suppose you could say those of us who dislike the new Star Wars films would reply to your statement with "How would you feel if somebody destroyed something you love?" Or "How would you feel if somebody praised or celebrated the destruction of something you love?" Because that's how it feels. All sides have a right to an opinion.

Anyway, I don't want to turn a discussion of Star Wars fan trouble into an example of that trouble, so I'm going to try to let this go here. :)

 I can't wait for this work week to be over. It's only Tuesday, but it feels like it's been this week forever.

miranstarr 02-03-2018 05:57 PM

Yeah, a bunch of people quit or got fired so it's putting a strain on the rest of the team.

sum1 02-04-2018 08:02 AM

I hope it gets better for you. :)

Your Chris Pratt avie is glaring at me again. I must have said something about Star Lord not knowing who his father is.

wickedrum 02-04-2018 08:47 AM

I was intending to change it but didn't get round to it :D

sum1 02-04-2018 09:12 AM

:thumbs nose at angry Pratt: "Na, na, you can't get me because you're stuck in an avie!" :P
