I wonder if they ever plan to put this on Disney Plus, but I realize that it's Sony.. :blank:

Probably not since they ignore the Spiderman films. I'll never get that, even if Sony still owns them their still in the damn MCU! It literally makes no sense lol.

That's because Sony made a deal with Netflix to exclusively stream their movies there. While Sony does have a content licensing deal with Marvel, they retain the distribution rights so Netflix will get it first. However, I just found this article that says that the movies may end up on Disney+ after debuting on Netflix. There is hope yet.

Quote:

Sony’s theatrical releases from 2022 through 2026 are included in the deal, and Disney will get access to them following their “Pay 1 TV window.” Starting in 2022, that window, which follows a film’s theatrical and home video runs, will be owned by Netflix, thanks to a deal announced earlier this month. (That means new Sony films will hit theaters first, then paid rentals and purchases, then Netflix, and then finally head over to Disney platforms, possibly including Disney Plus.)

So even though Disney and Sony’s deal means that Disney won’t have new Spider-Man films right after their theatrical runs, the company will get to include them in its streaming catalogue over the long term — something that Disney arguably values more. x

^ Yup, that's right.. Which that's why I notice that there was lot of Sony films on Netflix the most and for that, it made sense..

But I better not have hope, but just tiny one..
