I don't mind Loki with pony tails or braids. Just not bowl cut. Anyway, IMO, Loki looks his best in full armor with helmet.

I forgot to ask if you wanted to add a symbol between 'Loki' and 'Tom', perhaps? The crown, or that zodiacal sign symbol that kinda sorta looks like Loki's helmet?

That pic doesn't look bad at all. And there wouldn't be much difference with the look he sported in 'Thor' - you couldn't see the hair there either. Now we would only see the horns and the ponytail behind.
