It made a lot of money if that's what you mean lol. Besides that, MCU films always get a trilogy so far. They also said their usual "The Eternals will return" after the credits, so I don't get why people didn't expect a sequel.

I rewatched it on Disney+ and I like it even less than before lol. It just doesn't do anything for me. I'll still watch the sequel though.

I feel like the Eternals would have probably worked better as a Disney+ TV show rather than a movie.
