I always tend to use cast members/director quotes because my imaginations for these things is terrible.

Yeah, Kristine and I talked about it. Someone said he campaigned for it, but kind of as a joke. Sorry, but for someone who was kidding around, he was really thirsty for the role.

He's kind of playing a jerk who gets the girl in his tv show, already, so part of the preparation for the role is done.

He seems a nice guy, and he was so handsome in that bunch of White Collar episodes I watched ages ago. He doesn't deserve Christian Grey.

I know some actors get their names thrown into the mix knowing they have no chance, but that's more a publicity move than anything. I don't know why anyone would want to be associated with this hot mess in the first place. If I want to raise my profile, I'm sure as hell not going to do it with dreck.
