I've been watching the vlogbrothers like crazy for the past few days and I think I am slowly, slowly falling in love with John Green, that man is just too awesome. Seriously.

You are missing out. It's a videoblog hosted by John and hank Green. John Green is incidentally the author of The Fault in Our Stars and some other cool novels. He's a cool author and he is awesome. Him and his brother have also established this sort of subculture called nerdfighteria and done a lot of awesome things to "decrease world suck". They're awesome (especially John) and I'm surprised you haven't heard of them.
