that was disappointing. I wonder if we're going to find out at all.

what if they didn't actually think of a way that could've been pulled off? What if we're getting messed about without a real answer?

I was under the impression that the explanation he gave to Anderson was the right one? Which was basically the explanation literally everyone in the world had lmao.
A fun episode anyway, loved Mary, she seems great. The restaurant scene was hilarious, and it was nice to see John and Sherlock back together solving crimes. Major disappointment on the Molly Hooper front though, but I've long ago stopped hoping that Moffat and Gatiss could write her well, so I can't say I was that surprised, unfortunately. __________________

Okay so I'll write a proper review (proper meaning I'll rewatch and write down my reactions to the scenes) tomorrow because it's already late here but I just came to say thaT I WAS ****ING SWEATING MY WAY THROUGH THE EPISODE AND I WILL HAVE TO WAKE UP EARLY TOMORROW EVEN THOUGH I'M ALREADY TOO LATE FOR BED NOW TO TAKE A SHOWER (okay I also forgot the heater was still on but STILL!)

Sherlock was nicest to Molly, like light years nicer to her than John.

^ My disappointment doesn't come from Sherlock's attitude. I agree that he was nice to her (he should be, she saved his life). I just really hate the fact that she hasn't moved on at. all. and that she's still presented as the lovesick puppy who's willing to eat the crumbs he'll throw her. The Sherlock copycat she's marrying made me SO uncomfortable. I just hoped she would've moved on, you know. She's worth so much better than just being the lovesick fangirl.

I'm disappointed, because I didn't really care for it.
I think a lot of that is my own fault, though. My expectations were the highest they've ever been for an episode of TV -- ever. All of the in-advance reviews were so gushing. I seriously, seriously couldn't wait. I just knew I was in for something mind-blowing. I liked a few things, but I felt it dragged at times, and Sherlock and John's reunion felt way, way too rushed. I'll come back and post more in-depth thoughts once I've had a chance to rewatch the episode. Maybe I'll like it better the second time around. __________________

Looking forward to it!
I didn't really recognise Sherlock. His jokes on John very tasteless and sickening. __________________
